Was not sure what to expect, but the food here was actually really enjoyable and tasty.

The service here was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful with great customer service, our server was Priya and she did an excellent job in looking after us.

Drinks - I had the classic mojito (the mint could do with a bit of muddling before going in) and also a strawberry and lime mojito.. both were very refreshing and sweet, which is how I like them.

For starters:

Mozzarella sticks - fine no complaints Nachos- they were OK, I would have liked the cheese to have been melted a bit more, but also glad it was actual cheese and not cheese sauce. Comes with salsa and jalapeños, would have done well with some sour cream and guacamole just to make it complete. Lamb chops - they were a bit chewy, I usually expect my lamb to be a bit more tender.. but it had a nice flavour with a nice spicy sauce.

Chicken wings - Bad boy Jerk and chicka - these wings were absolutely amazing, they were nice big pieces of chicken which were crispy and really tasty. If you can handle the spice then I cN recommend the bad boy jerk, they are extra spicy. The chicka is a mayo based sauce mixed in something, I was a bit skeptical but they were actually really good.. would definitely recommend.

Mains - Shrimp hot Dawg - the shrimps were coated in a sauce similar to the chicka sauce, could have been that, in any event they were fabulous shrimp.. u thoroughly enjoyed them.. the sausage itself wasn't terrible.. could have done with some extra seasoning. The chips were coated in some sauce, whilst the sauce was nice it made the chops extra soggy. I would just consider having plain chips instead next time.

After all the hype of chickaros this was a pure let down. We had a booked a table of 11 and eventually became 13 so they accommodated that. We ordered the food which took some time but the waitress confirmed everything and we said yes thats right. We reminded her that the kids food needs to be asap but the rest can come out after. The drinks came after 10 mins and they had forgotten 4 drinks. Those 4 came after another 10 mins so not a great start. The starters came out after 30 mins but only 2 people had starters and we did say to bring it all together. Now it had been 45 mins and the shop was dead apart from us there was 2 tables of 2 so completely not busy at all for chickaros. Now it's been 55 mins and we was about to leave until the manager said its on its way. Still another 10 mins later a few plates come out. They brought out the kids food then but still got it wrong so went back and 10 mins after they got that right. The main food was rushed and not presented properly. The customer service was bad and the manager didn't care at all. All he cared about was the bill at the end. All the food came out 1hr 15 mins after the order was given and after all that the food was really bad. I expected alot better esp equally after all the hype. In the end the manager had the audacity to charge us the full bill and when I asked wheres the discount he said I will sort it if that's a must. Came back with 10% off wow what great customer service. I tried to speak to him at the end but he blamed all his staff except him. Will not come back again here. Fix up your service first and don't blame others. Waitress Rhian you deserve a better job as your service was impeccable. Please do pray you get something...

The worst dining experience I’ve ever had in my life! We booked a table at 5pm for 5 people as a Father’s Day treat for my very elderly father In law and husband. There wasn’t much of a wait and our order was taken at 5.27pm. At 6.30pm, a team member was hovering around us with what I assume was the very unprofessional looking manager in a grey tracksuit with gold teeth. We overheard them talking about getting us out as they need the table. As we then ordered dessert, the male waiter came over and apologised and said, “ I know you’ve ordered dessert but your table is booked for another group now.” I was so insulted as we’d booked the table also. He offered us 10 minutes for the dessert to arrive and be eaten! We were so rushed that we couldn’t finish and by this time I just wanted to leave. It completely ruined Fathers Day and I have never been treated like this in a restaurant before. Further to this, when I asked for the bill, I was handed a piece of scrap paper with a name and account to complete a bank transfer and told its a personal account! WTH! I know it wasn’t the waiters fault as he was really lovely - he was being ordered by the man with gold teeth. The staff all looked unhappy. The only positives were , the food was good and the waitress at the end who looked after us called Khansa who tried to help diffuse the situation and make it a better experience. My husband sent a review to your fb page and you deleted it only keeping your 5* reviews. Please don’t copy and paste a reply asking us to get in touch with Wolverhampton Chickaros to rectify it because you can’t. We will never, ever...
