Chai Hubb — Restaurant in Wolverhampton

Went to visit my daughter at University. We decided to pop into Chai Hubb to have Halwa puri which was recommended by my daughter as she ate Halwa puri on a previous occasions. The shop was very nice and clean and the brother who was serving behind the counter was very welcoming, nice and polite. The Halwa puri was excellent, tasted fantastic and I yammed it all down. We had karkh chai (desi tea) which tasted great just the right amount of ingredients. My son who had popped in on a previous occasion asked me to bring some donuts back for him which I did. Best Asian set up in Wolves. Finally worth travelling to Wolverhampton if you’re desi. For those who rate Chaiwala tea, I have to say its zilch compared to this place and cheaper too. The owners should be proud of this set up which is slowly becoming a central hub (pun intended) for the Asian community to socialise within the locality, something which meant travelling to Birmingham before. Over all a very mixed experience. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Not too much variety in menu but reasonable choices are there. Few items are highly over priced. We ordered paninis and karak tea. Both tasted nice ..tea was really karak. Paninis were good but quite hard. Order took approximately 20 mins to arrive... Food is halal. It's basically a small cafe with 15-20 ppl seating capacity.
