This store is great and the owner Pat is a super kind, super helpful guy! He was great about telling us the history of items in the shop and sharing his knowledge with us! As an example he had a lot of cold weather gear from a general who’s name I feel bad but can’t remember at the moment (gonin, pat can fill you in)— but there were a bunch of coats from his time stationed in Alaska that were in amazing condition, looked super cool and very fashionable now— and had actual coyote fur trimmed collars! My husband tried one on because he loved it (and he is super picky) but the fit wasn’t quite right. The prices here are great too— I got a warm beanie hat for $5 and my husband got a polertec fleece for $15! Plus these are actual items from the army— not your typical Northface or Patagonia stuff you would find at REI. PLUS he gave our 9 month old daughter a gift before we left the shop, which she is happily playing with in the back of the car right now! We stopped here on a road trip from Seatrle Cannon Beach and this “toy” will keep her entertained until the next time we stop for sure! Plus it’s a great and handy/useful item that we could use too! What a great experience and we’re so glad we stopped! Check it out— you'll be...
