This was a very quaint diner with a very limited menu. I got the turkey wrap and pasta. The wrap was toasted a bit, which I think made it better. The diner atmosphere was interesting and filled with an array of art, trinkets, jewelry and local information that I enjoyed. Service was friendly. The only thing that was weird was walking through what seemed to be the kitchen or dish area to the one bathroom that seemed to be occupied the entire 35 minutes we were there.

Stopped by for coffee, l ended up getting breakfast wrap, avocado toast, cookies, and a scone!! Lemon-Almond scone was divine!!! Such a great little shop. Very homey, comforting and a great place to enjoy your life for a moment. Just as advertised…not fast food, but worth the wait!!! Tons to see, taste and purchase!!! I will be coming back next time I drive through Kansas!!! I added a pic of my half eaten scone!!!

Oh, what friendly service and help this restaurant offers travelers. The lemon pasta was a delight. The chicken wild rice soup was amazing. Sandwiches were built just right with more than enough protein. The shred-carrots were a surprise in the roast beef sandwich. Tuna melt and turkey wraps were amazing. Overall, Amanda's is a great stop after the Eisenhower Memorial. Be sure to try the Italian Sodas here

The food is amazing. I’ve been a reoccurring customer for a while now, and I’ve never had a problem. But today they forgot some of my food and I call and received some of the most rude unprofessional costumer service I’ve ever had in my life. I was kind an understanding the entire conversation and the lady was still rude, and even hung up on me. I went in and asked if I could get get only what I paid for. She made the misunderstanding to be another guys fault, in which I was still understanding saying it was no problem at all. While the entire time she was raising her voice with a horrible attitude. I left and will never go back. I don’t care how good of food a place has. If they have poor and rude customer service the food quality means...

Wish I could give a proper review. Amandas is supposed to be known for their bierocks. I went out of my way to go here on a cross country trip called twice and they assured me it's a regular item on the menu in fact when I arrived it was even on their menu board. I arrived at noon and no bierocks today at all. Why would a place that's known for their signature item not have them? I'll never be back in this area again so I guess I'll never know. After my experience I called the Kansas Fried Chicken place I was planning to go to for dinner to confirm they would have fried chicken available. I got a friendly response that they would but found it odd I even had to ask such a question. I explained my experience I...

STOP THE PRESSES! Okay, the pasta wasn't perfect. And the sandwich could have had a little more zing. But the service was phenomenal. I also picked up a cranberry scone for later. This was on Friday and that scone got knocked around the hotel room and car until we got home on Sunday. It was the best I'd ever eaten! I removed the plastic wrap, nuked for 15 seconds. It was still tender ( I could tell by the texture that the baker really knows her stuff) and the crystalized sugar on top was still crispy. I may have Amanda ship some to me for Christmas. The best I'd ever eaten. Sorry it took so long for me to get...
