If you're hungry, go somewhere else. We thought it would be a quick 20 - 30 min wait for our food. We didn't order a lot, a large pizza, fried cheese and foccacia. It took OVER AN HOUR to get our food, and it turns out they forgot about our order! We were patient and waited until it hit the hour mark. Then we came back up to ask what's taking so long to which they go "oh, oops yours has been ready. We just forgot to call it" so not only did we wait a ridiculously long amount of time, our food was also barely warm!! To add salt to the wound, they didn't apologize about the wait. Just handed the food and went on to the next person. I hope the warm-ish food is worth the wait. Because this was unacceptable. They also add extra fees (a "transparency fee" of almost 4% for what?? I don't know) Edit: after eating, the food was indeed not fresh minus the foccacia. The fried cheese didn't string at all and was mostly cold, the same goes for the pizza. The hottest (temp wise) item was the marinara dip. The crust is very chewy, like very chewy, so you're going to feel too tired to keep chewing after the first slice of pizza. Its also very very greasy (and cold / cooling grease does NOT taste very good). It probably would have had better taste had it been fresh out, but sadly I didn't get the pleasure of that experience.

waited 45 minutes for 3 slices of pepperoni pizza and chicken Alfredo. Food was not still not as fresh/hot for as long as it took. Asked for caesar dressing and they gave me ranch, chicken was very dry and looked old inside the pasta, owner and lady who worked there were being rude to the Pepsi delivery worker. we were waiting so long for a to-go order we sat at a table and were asked to get up by owner for a customer who was “dine in” (who still had not even received their food neither). Overall terrible service and not good food to ever return

I had to have a procedure done and wasn't allowed to eat for about 40 hours and when I came to I knew I wanted Joe's Pizza ! We got the 20" with pepperoni, bacon, jalapenos, onion and extra cheese. If you love NY style pizza this is the place for you. Crispy crust, tons of toppings and ooey gooey cheese. I mean look at it! It barely fits in the box. Fantastic food and amazing people. Oh shoot can't forget the ranch! 1 think I could eat the ranch by itself! Anyway 10/10 always. (Pizza is a supreme 20" that comes with up to 8 topping for $25.50)

I ordered my food through Uber eats for me to pick up on my own. Order was deemed ready for pick up forty mins after ordering which was expected and fine with me. Once i got the text that that the order was ready, loaded up the car and headed that way. Got to Resturant to pick up and they hadn’t even started the order! I had to wait, big and pregnant with two starving kids and irritated husband, for another 40 mins. When at the front, all the woman said was it will be a couple mins.., 40 mins is not a few mins. Had I wanted to wait for food at a Resturant, I would have went out and eaten not ordered online. Very very upset with this. Uber gave credit of $6 and some change. And maybe this is an error with Uber eats not sure. But besides that huge issue, While sitting and waiting, we got drinks. $13 dollars for four drinks. And the Resturant didn’t have ice. My eight year old son went over to let them know and they never addressed the issue. So we drank $13 worth of hot sodas. After waiting 40 mins, went up there right in time as they were bagging the ordered. Needed lid for my nieces drink, she is 12, so she goes up and politely asked for a lid. The rude employee said there’s some by the drink station. There wasn’t which is why she asked. So my niece explained that there wasn’t any. And the employee was once again rude and dismissed her saying well we don’t have any. The way she was with customers the entire time was just unsettling. Being busy, tired etc is part of the job it happens. But don’t take it out on customers. The manners at this place were horrible. Only reason for two stars is because the food is good. It never disappoints. Been going for many many years, and this place has gone down hill with customer service and timing issues. I get that places get busy but their dismissiveness and rudeness was disheartening to say the least. Especially when it’s a local place that normally has a good reputation and wonderful food. They lost a customer for this particular location. They need to take notes from the location on treadway. Those guys have wonderful customer service and even if there are longer than normal wait times (which is rare) it’s no bother because the staff is pleasant to be around. They actually show that they care about...

I’ve been a loyal customer at Joe’s Pizza & Pasta since 2012. Joe’s is privately owned, by a family who dedicate themselves to their cooking. They’re a local staple in Abilene.

Their pizza is unmatched, anywhere in Abilene, regardless, if it’s thin crust or stuffed. Their cannolis and tiramisu are absolutely superb. The filling in their cannolis is creamy, and subtle - balanced perfectly with the cannoli shell. The chicken caesar salad, is topped with imported, shredded mozzarella, over perfectly seared, chicken breast; filleted to maintain tenderness and moisture.

I’m a lover of creamy, rich, alfredo sauce. Joe’s al dente cooked, fettuccini pasta, is perfection. Do a blind test with Joe’s chicken fettuccine Alfredo, Little Italy’s, and Olive Garden’s. The starchiness in Olive Garden’s pasta is like paste, in comparison. Little Italy’s is under dressed with alfredo sauce, as thin as store bought Bertolli’s. Every pasta at Joe’s is spectacular. Their fettuccini alfredo, with or without chicken, is the best and most authentic.

Their customer service speaks volumes, as well. Joe’s was my Mom’s favorite place to go. When I order for pickup, they know who it’s for. It will always be a nostalgic experience for every member of my family.

Joe’s Pizza & Pasta is not to be confused with ‘Joe’s Pizza’. This is not a chain restaurant.

Best pizza in town but oh my god, walking in there and having to see the owner almost makes it not worth getting. That dude is legit one of the scariest looking human beings I've ever seen and I worked in a maximum security prison for 15 years. His skin just does not look like skin. I don't even know how to describe it. He looks like he once had a coat of fur that covered his body but all the fur fell off. Again, great pizza but It's like walking into a haunted house. I highly recommend doing delivery. His eyes are black, legit completely black like a shark's eyes. I walk in there and the jaws music starts playing in my head, then the owner comes out from the back and is like "Welcome to Joe's! What can I get you?" ..... I don't know Dracula please don't take my blood. Don't talk to me like we're both humans. Actually though, dude might actually be the real Dracula. Its not his fault but good god man have someone else greet the customers. Unfortunately you will not find better pizza anywhere else around here. His hands look like feet... long palms, really long, like a wolf's foot and short fingers, so crazy. He looks like he can breathe underwater. I get a legit adrenaline rush when Joe's owner turns that corner and the light hits his face. I got Joephobia. My buddy used to work there and says he's a really nice guy but I don't know. Have you noticed that this town has a weird amount of missing cats? There are missing cat posters all over town. Feel like Joe's has something to do with that. Got no evidence but I can picture him running around at night and stealing cats. Amazing pizza. 5...
