Very upset! My daughter and I came in Friday night and picked up subway to take home. When we got home my daughter went to eat the ice from her cup and said mom there is something in our drink. I said it's probably back wash or something. She said no its metal. We poured it in a bowl and sure enough it was some kind of screw. At this point I'm grossed out but just so happens my daughter had her tetanus shot earlier that day. ( what are the odds). So I call the store tell them and let them know they should probably put a out of order sign on the ice machine for safety reasons. I also work I the medical profession. The girls seemed to blow me off alittle so I told my daughter we need to take it up there , just in case someone else gets something in their drink and make sure they put a out of order sign. I live 20 min from that subway. So all in all about 30 40ish min before we get up there. ) They did not have a out of order sign on the machine. My daughter gave her a screw in the cup. Its not a common screw it was different and I'm not sure what it is.. The counter girl said they had serviced the ice machine that day and they were missing a screw from the lid. I told her she need to turn it off and have it cleaned for health reasons. She offered me a 6 inch sandwich. I said I would like someone to call me. Major health violation and liability. To have a machine serviced and not cleaned before refilling and having a metal peice in it. This could have been really serious if my daughter had gottena hold of that when she went to eat her ice.. not to mention the rust on it and the apparent lack of cleanliness. My daughter and I did not have any symptoms we seem to be fine as of right now. But what make me livid is that Noone called. They never turned the machine off or put a sign up.. Which means they probably did not clean it. Then when I called them today. Ask why to all my questions and my concerns. The lady was so rude.. she made an excuse for not handling this health and safety issue. Because she was dealing with multiple locations. The biggest slap in the face is They acted like it did not come from their ice machine. How else would it get in our drink. Because it did not match the one on the lid so they say. Which means random metal thing are in their ice machine, there are still missing a metal screw from their lid, things are being service with out being cleaned and sterilized. And you can not even get an apology or them to take responsibility and go through the step to put customers safety first. I am...
Read moreI hate posting this as I have never had issues with this business. And normally love going in. But here it is- Last Thursday I placed an order on the app for pick up during business hours. Order showed received, being made, and ready for pick up. Went to the location to pick up to find out they were closed due to ac issues. Which I get. It’s a million degrees in texas and I wouldn’t want to remain open. However, they didn’t do anything to stop orders from coming in. I tried calling all sorts of numbers to get a refund. They have absolutely no manager at this location, the number other managers gave me seem to be someone that will not pick up the phone, and the only way to reach out to headquarters is via email. So I emailed, and got a response saying to wait 48 hrs and I should have a refund as the order never came through. I have more than enough proof showing that it did indeed go through. No refund has been issued. Just shows payment went through and the order was picked up. Charge cam out of the bank. So I called store when they opened back up and the employee that answered must have just started I don’t know but basically laughed it off saying nothing could be done. O wells. Um no, this was a $27 order. I want my money back. So I emailed again, absolutely no answer. Called the branch again yesterday and this employee told me they have no acting manager and unfortunately he didn’t know what to do. So I posted in bbb as this is theft. My response was why don't you put a note on the door to let your customers know, their response was good idea. Went across street to get cash came back told them we had cash ready to place an order. Ok the store has 2 girls working it and they both have a to go order. Their response was you will have to wait till we get these orders out. I asked how long will that be they both ignore us. My wife looks at one and asks how long? Their response as long as it takes. Well we know Chuck is the manager and Chuck you have 2 of the rudest employees and we will never eat at Subway again. Chuck if you read this it was around or just a little after 6 pm 5/26/2018. Hire more respectable help or find a different career because if this is how you train your employees you suck at managing.
