Amazing Atmosphere and such a Beautiful cafe/winery inside of Historic Windsor. Iāmma star off by sayinā that I am a HUGE Architecture Nerd, and when I say that the interior of this building is just a perfect mix of classic art, and classic design, I truly mean it. It can just fit in any era/decade throughout the 20th Century and still fit right in with new styles of architecture in the 21st.
And donāt even get me started on the Funky Grill Cheese. Every time I go there, almost every time, they are out š¤£.
And not to state that as a bad thing because Iām guessinā that a lot of people like it as well, which is nothing wrong with it! Itās popular for a reason and I can easily stand by that fact.
But whenever I do get the Funky Grill Cheese, itās always a 10/10. And the Tomato Bisque is just amazing! I canāt be the only one that dips the FGC in the Bisque, but if I am then good!!! Yāall missinā out anyway, lol!
Iām an Abilenian, born and raised, and Iām just at an astonishing awe at how amazing Downtown has come back to life and is becoming more than just a CBD, but also a place to live, eat, and have fun with friends and family. The scene is starting to change as new and exciting things come along for my great home city, and Iām all here for it! 10/10...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad our 2nd visit this last week. Our 1st visit was great a few months ago. I ordered a Caesar Chicken Salad, same as last time. Since we were eating IN I assumed the salad would be made fresh from the kitchen, served in an actual bowl with an actual fork, like last time. Not. My wifes food was made fresh, a delicious looking sandwich to die for. The guy from the kitchen brought out her order, and then the guy went over to the refrigerated cooler next to the cash register and got a day-old (who knows) chicken Caesar salad in a plastic bowl like a pre-made one from a grocery store and then grabbed a plasticware set from the little holder and brought it to our table. Actually? Seriously?? $13 bucks? Its gonna be loooong minute before we go back, at least me anyway. I ran this story across a few different people, and they agreed. That shouldn't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to Sway with a few of my friends to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. The place is beautiful. The staff was friendly, however, not knowledge at all about wine. I asked fairly simple questions just about which was their driest and which was the least dry and she could not answer. I was only asking because they also do not allow tastings, or at least that is what I was told. Personally, I do not feel like spending 14+ dollars on a very small glass of wine if I am unsure if I will even like it. Luckily, the glass of wine I decided upon was very tasty. It was an overall good experience, I would just say that staff needs to he better trained on all aspects, not just the coffee. Would go...
