We ordered a thin crust Pizza and received a regular pizza, calling them twice, once to order and another time to make the payment, I mentioned to them the thin crust pizza. The second time calling to make payment the gentleman had confirmed that there was an order of coke and thin crust pizza, and we paid for the same. Not to mention that the regular pizza they sent by mistake was one of the worst pizzas I have ever had. Also, when calling the first time, the gentleman did not inform us that there was an online sale going on, 50% off if your order online, and neither did the second time calling to make the payment, this was immediately past placing the order. Also possibly did not record the correct phone number, making an effort to look up the correct number under which the credit was being accumulated for a fixed number of free pizzas posts having bought 10 of them from Dominoās. I had called post the error and was told to send the Pizza back, this was after receiving the wrong Pizza that was very cold and not a very good one almost an hour past the order, and the delivery driver having left. The gentleman kept saying that you could send the Pizza back and kept suggesting that he had only taken the payment, and the order was taken by another gentleman. The person to whom we made the payment, the same gentleman we spoke to post reaching the Pizza knew that we had ordered think crust pizza because he had found our order not but the phone number but by Coke, and alongside that crust Pizza had been noted, which is had loudly pronounced to be, repeating the order to be coke and think crust pizza. Waited an hour and a half for my food after the first order. Was told by the store employee, after calling to inquire about the food, that they were "short on drivers." This was on a Saturday evening, during football season. Usually a busy time for pizza shops, I thought nothing of it.
Placed an order today, at 11:17am on a Thursday. Online it said my pizza was done and ready for delivery at 11:28am. Sat in the store until 12:00pm when their delivery driver arrived for his shift. When I called, I was told there was no delivery driver before noon. When asked why they don't say delivery isn't available until noon on their app/website, I got no response. I said, "you're charging a $3.50 delivery fee for my food to sit in the store and for me to wait almost an hour."
After assuring my food was still hot, I told them it was ok to deliver. The delivery guy came right away, and was nice and apologetic. But it's not his fault. I still tipped him, because I know he is not seeing any of that delivery fee. But Domino's you need to look into this store. This is not good business. At least offer to refund the delivery fee. I ordered online like I usually do and 50 minutes after my driver Edwin (the text alerts say thatās his name) left the store I sign for my items and indicate on the receipt that I don't want to tip (because itās late) and put the exact amount of the order on the receipt. I look on my financial statements 2 days later and I see that the exact amount I signed for is not a different amount. I call the store about this and ask to speak with the manager and the young man who answered the phone who I know is not the manager says I am the manager: I explain to him what happens and he proceeds to say only a supervisor can fix the issue. (But didnāt he say heās the manager?) so he asked for my number without asking my name at least and says someone will get back to you. In conclusion, Iām still in the middle of my dispute and have already talked to my bank as well as corporate about this issue. I canāt believe someone had the audacity to do this. My advice?
