Sack O' Subs — Restaurant in Absecon

Horrible. Lady on the phone who took my order was rude, kept asking the same thing over and over. When someone finishes ordering a dish you ask anything else, not is that it? They quoted an hour for delivery, it was an hour and a half. The food was cold, things that were supposed to be cold were warm. All my side condiments requested were not included. Called and was told I was being transferred to a manager and the same person came back and offered only for the driver to come back and get the food and give me my money back. No compensation for anything else, cold food, extended delivery time and missing items. Said they were closing and what do you want me to do. Needless to say I will never order from this...

Very Good Hoagies. I did takeout, although there's plenty of seating if you wanted to eat-in. I had a Roast Beef and Provolone Hoagie/Sub and it was one of the best I have ever had. Honest. The roast beef was really, really good. I might even make that my new favorite. Their Regular Hoagie/Sub is very good, too, and doesn't have spicy meats like some shops have. If I want spice I'll add the spice (hot peppers, etc.). The rolls are good, too. Soft, without that hard ridge. People coming "down to the Shore", and/or Atlantic City, often stop by on their way back home to bring some good food to the folks North and West of here that are...

For starters, there is more grease dripping from the entire ceiling. Then there was on the grill. Our food was cooked. It is absolutely disgusting in there... I ordered a cheese steak with sauteed onions. I assume the simple order. I got back a piece of dried meat that tasted like it was left in the sun for a week. The topped with burnt onions that left such a horrendous taste in my mouth. Do yourself a favor. You could get a sub at the supermarket for half the price with more flavor or make one at home. Don't waste your money here... I have no idea how this place has four out of four stars. It must be nothing but friends rating...
