So it was my 1st time going...was for a birthday dinner. It was 830pm. The inside was nice & they have seating overlooking the water...its probably really nice during the day. I was sort of taken back by such a small menu for being called a raw bar. I ordered 3 different types of oysters 2 sets raw & 1 cooked "Rockefeller" also ordered the steamed shrimp & the scallop dinner. So the scallops where perfectly cooked & the butternut puree was tasty. It was 4 scallops & a small bowl of loaded potato salad (my choice of side) there are only 2 other sides to pick from. The oysters were fresh however if I were serving blue point,James river,River, duxbury oysters I would not serve half shells that looked empty. At least 3 on my platter of James were very small...almost embarrassing to serve small & 2 on my Duxbury platter & 2 on my blue point. For a raw bar...I wouldn't serve the microscopic oysters. I could have put 3 of them together to equal one. The back of the house may want to consider that when sending out oysters now matter what time it is. The kitchen closed at 930pm. So I placed an order of the 3 sets of oysters plus an additional set of the Rockefeller ones. The shrimp were nice & big & cooked/steamed well...the seasoning could do with some more type of flavor. The loaded potato salad was absolutely delicious...did I mention that? Maybe some more options for appetizers whether raw or cooked would be nice... overall ok food. I would try again at an earlier time & see if the service of food is the same. I ate my full because I had not eaten as yet so... I wouldn't write them off as yet. So after reading everyone's reviews & pictures...im wondering why the condensed menu I...

Pretty decent cocktails!! Nice little spot. Wish I could leave more stars, but had an experience here last night that was disappointing at best, and discriminatory at worst. Just because it’s relevant to this review, I am a queer woman. My partner and I rolled in around 9pm last night for drinks at the upstairs bar. We were aware that the bar closes at 10pm but the attitude of barstaff was pretty aloof. We assumed it was because they were trying to get ready to close - whatever, understandable. We got two cocktails pretty quickly, and they were delicious! But our two pals, who are also queer women, came to join us around 9:20 and were overtly ignored by the bartenders, while we observed all the Chad bros in the bar get served immediately. They waited at least 15 minutes for their drinks. Then, around 9:45pm, we tried to get another round of drinks since most of the other patrons (Chads) were still ordering. We made eye contact with the bartenders several times, but they deliberately ignored us, and never came back to check on us while immediately serving and seemingly doting on every other male at the bar. We gave up after trying to get their attention for at least 10 minutes. Not sure if there’s some homophobic sheistiness going on here or if it was just pure rudeness, but definitely will...

Took my mom here. Had oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktail, and shrimp sliders. Oh, also had the watermelon crawl drink. The oysters were very good but they didnt bring us enough crackers ( 8 crackers for 12 oysters doesnt equal out). The shrimp were large but far from fresh and far from being even remotely ( Charleston or beaufort) sourced. And the shrimp sliders had no flavor at all. I wish I could tell all bartenders that a drink doesnt have to be strong to be good. In fact, it sometimes causes a good drink to be a really nasty one. This was that kind of drink. Could not drink more than 3 sips of it. The waitress checked on us 1 time. The table was way to small to hold more than 1 plate at a time. And it was overpriced for what we got. If it had not been for the good company I had with me I would have considered this a very dossapointing evening. They need to update their menu online ( both food and drink) because I didnt see half of what I had been looking forward to...

Amazing Atmosphere and Excellent Service! Drift Bar is hands down one of the best spots in North Augusta! The ambiance is just perfect for a relaxing evening out. The decor is modern and chic, yet still very cozy. The outdoor seating area offers beautiful views of the river, making it a fantastic place to unwind with friends or family. The service was top-notch. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The craft cocktails are a must-try - creative and delicious! We particularly enjoyed the “Southern Charm,” which had the perfect blend of flavors. The food did not disappoint either. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. The shrimp and grits were exceptional - creamy and packed with just the right amount of spice. Overall, Drift Bar is a gem in North Augusta. Whether you’re looking for a great place to dine or just somewhere to enjoy a few drinks with a view, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

This place is a great little hangout spot or date night spot so long as you eat before you show up. The atmosphere is very nice and the aesthetic is beautiful. The hostess was awesome, our waitress though was clearly ready to go home. It’s important to know though you’re pretty much just paying for the aesthetic. The drinks are extremely small, and the food portions are even smaller. For 4 very small sliders (enough to maybe satisfy a single person) , 1 drink, and some caviar, it came out to a little over $80 before the tip. With that said, the food was decent. Not great, but decent. So if you don’t mind paying the price of a full meal, for a small snack that doesn’t taste very impressive, come hungry. If you like to actually eat when you’re out, grab a meal from another establishment before showing up. The drinks were delicious, but as stated much smaller than drinks you’ll get almost anywhere else. Overall a nice experience. Would go back, just would not show up hungry.
