I gave two stars as some of the employees were wonderful; however, the desk person who worked when I checked in was less than great as was the desk person who responded to me when I inquired about my room. Spent the whole day traveling, only to get to Augusta and our reserved rental car was not available at the airport. Called the desk explained our plight and inquired about a shuttle, no shuttle but it was a longshot as the hotel didn't advertise one. In the early hours we were checked in by the person I asked about a shuttle, at the same time with my friend who was attending the same training. Found out the next day, my friend was upgraded to a suite as were many people in our training group. I was not and my room was worn, in addition the hot water in the sink took at least 5 minutes to heat up, the remote was missing a back and didn't work (found out later that was due to user error) and the toilet paper roll holder was broken so that anytime you used it the roll fell off and rolled across the bathroom. When I went to the desk on the first morning to let them know about the remote, the same person that checked us in told me to come back later and get batteries. Maintenance came after a different desk person called and maintenance told me just to leave the sink running, addressed the issue with the remote, and said he would come back to fix the roll holder (this did not happen). When I asked a different front desk person about the criteria for room upgrades and let her know that I thought it was poor customer service to upgrade one person but not the second when two people attending the same training checked in together, this desk person gave me an explanation that anyone who has stayed in a hotel would know was absolutely false and ridiculous. I thanked her for speaking with me and told her I respectfully rejected the explanation as nonsense. The employees that ran the breakfast were lovely, as were several other people who worked the desk, but because of two people who provided terrible customer service, my stay was not pleasant. I was put in a room that obviously had not been refreshed in awhile and had subpar amenities and I knew that this could have been fixed but was not. If location to restaurants is most important to you this is a good location. For me there are other hotels close by that I will utilize before I stay at...
Read moreFirst time to stay as business trip and stayed for two nights. Check in was smooth and a receptionist greets with smile and hospitality.
Room Pro: it is clean and quite. Air con temperature adjust is precisely as base on personal feeling. Shower room and toilet are also well clean and separated partition. Shower gel, conditioner, and shampoo are supplied. I do not know what brand it is.
Con: Handle bar attached to the glass door is shaking. This is dangerous. Shortage of shower gel. Room was not cleaned after came back about 1pm. When I was out of hotel again, I did remind front desk to clean my room and replenish shower gel with my room number. Unfortunately, after came back around 8pm, no one clean my room and replenish shower gel either. This let me felt somehow upset.
Coffee maker is kind of dirty. How much cost to replace a new one? Just curious.
5.Adjoining room: You can hear TV and some noise from room next to you. Please double check when you check in.
Parking: Cost $7 self-parking per night. I think price is fare and you don’t need to spend time to find a parking in downtown area. However, please remember to check in firstly and the then use room key to get in.
Breakfast: Complimentary breakfast was great.
It provide ready to go box with cookies, cheese and grape as fresh start of a day. I like it.
The Denver Omelet is ready to order. You can customize materials you would like.
It basically provides scrambled eggs, sausage, bagel, fresh fruit mulberry/blueberry mix with yogurt, oat meal, and of course toast…et.
Milk and juice are also available. It is surprised that you can have oat milk if you don’t like milk.
Complimentary hot black coffee is supplied. Decaf is alternative if you are worried about too much caffeine.
Bar: Bar is located at 8th floor and will be closed at 10PM. View is awesome. A glass of general cocktail will cost you about $10 or 12 in average. The night view is wonderful. You can take look surrounding downtown area. No doubt, it is a chill night with couple beers or whisky to chat with family or friends.
Overall experience to stay in Hyatt was fine if you ignore flaws about room and service.
I may consider coming back again but mainly for the great night view and atmosphere at the...
Read moreI stayed at this place for 3 nights. The bar is tended by a few people. The staff can be a mixture of fun to mildy judgemental or disengaged. I enjoyed talking to the woman that tends to the breakfast service. She is so sweet and genuine. I had enjoyed talking to the 3 woman bar tenders. The male needs training on gender pronouns. 🙏
Now, minor notiable good and minor things. The shower was missing a shelf. The rooms smelled nice and seem clean. The cleaning staff can be fun to talk to. They are also genuine. 💜
Some of the people that stay there may be the reason for some of the things I've seen. In the hallway like one woman that dumped garbage next to an elevator which was leaking beer. An elevator was missing a railing. It was there on Saturday but Sunday morning it was gone!! The elevator trim buttons were missing from two elevators. ( I didn't feel like chasting the hotel with pictures since this was done by people that stayed over night. )
When you visit stop by the 8th floor roof top lounge . Great view. Also if you are seeking rest, the doors slamming from the hallway can wake you of the guest are late night partiers. I didn't hear any loud televisions or any conversation from the rooms around me. No noise from the room above!!
The parking was self driving neither car access to the parking lot. 3 levels and covered!! For some odd reason, I kept waking up at 7am each morning. It may have been hallway noise??
My advice., They should have someone go through the floors at night twice and pick up trash from their guests. Some folks don't know how to stay at a hotel. Survey the elevators to see what guests are abusing the facility. Last, smile and a little lbgtqia training when addressing guest's gender...
