If I could give 0 stars.... I would. Firstly, the drinks were the only thing good on the table. We both ordered the duck after our waitress went into detail about how good and different this food should be and it tasted bland and chewy. The duck was recommended at medium. it was EXTREMELY chewy and and felt like a meat gum paste. None of our food was hot, and the there was no difference in texture between the duck, the arugula, the turnips, and the beans. The macaroni was ordered on recommendation and NEVER AGAIN!!! It was a 7layer lasagna style macaroni and cheese and it was terrible. The noodles were overcooked and mushy in the mouth. it felt like I was eating cheap fondue. we both took one bite and pushed it away. If this is the best of Augusta, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND COOK AT HOME. Sean Wight, shame on you for the preparation of the duck. bland, chewy, and entirely too much fat. I couldn't even finish the food and when I told the staff that our meal was not at all what she said it would be, we got nothing but a $125 check for food that was all cold and bland. This was not a luxury dining experience at all. Overpriced and overcooked. TERRIBLE AND NEVER COMING BACK. We felt like paypigs than customers. Management never came over neither did the chef to speak with us. We have had better service at fastfood dinners. VERY DISAPPOINTED that this was the place I had my birthday dinner. I have no reason to ever come back to a place like this.

My wife and I celebrated our 11th anniversary here on a Saturday night. We made reservations for 6pm, showed up ten minutes early and they were still able to get us seated after a couple minutes. When we arrived at our table, there were little cards at each of our seats congratulating us on our anniversary. We definitely did appreciate that. The reason I gave 4 stars is because the tables along the wall in the main dining room are quite cramped. As a taller guy, I felt that I had no room to budge with my elbows without bumping the wall. Not a big deal though. Our waitress was very professional and prompt. She was knowledgeable about the menu and explained in detail the options available that day that were "off menu." My wife ordered the scallops with risotto and I ordered "off menu" with the pork chops. (Both are pictured) The pork chops were absolutely phenomenal, and unlike any pork chops I've had before. They were extra thick and very moist (waitress mentioned an overnight marinade) and grilled to perfection. My wife's scallops were also very excellent and the risotto was possibly even the shining star of that dish. Our drinks were well made (I was drinking an old fashion), but the wait was quite long for each round, sometimes 10-15 minutes. All in all, this is the best food I've had in Augusta and look forward to returning to try the rest of the menu!

My significant other and I went to Augusta to celebrate our 5-year anniversary and asked friends in the area for recommendations. This was one of the top recommended restaurants and we were NOT disappointed. First off, we’re from Atlanta, so we’re used to really nice fine dining experiences. The food was absolutely incredible. We had steaks and the shrimp and grits as well as 2 appetizers and a side of Mac and cheese. We also had several cocktails that were creative and delicious! I’m writing this review in late December when we went the first week in November solely because it’s been on my mind to leave this review for Victoria, our incredible waitress. I know sometimes reviews can mean a lot to an owner (so I’m really hoping you see this!) and I think this woman deserves some sort of raise or bonus because she’s the best waitress I’ve had in years. She made our whole dining experience. Without her, it would’ve been great food and drinks, but she made the entire experience absolutely wonderful. We were a very late reservation, so by the end of our meal the restaurant closed. Yet she still came out with a chocolate dessert and creme brûlée on a tray, said it was on her and thanked us for spending our evening with them. She said to take as long as we wanted and that just meant so much to us. So thank you Victoria. We hope our paths cross again, you’re incredible 🤍
