Five Guys — Restaurant in Aiken County

I had the most horrible experience in this restaurant today than I've ever had in any restaurant. It's a Sunday afternoon 1:00 1:30 lunch crowd after church in Aiken. South Carolina has a lot of elderly people but Lively energetic + 1. After ordering our meal and having a seat, our order number was called and we were getting ready to eat. The cashier came from behind the register with spray and a wiping towel and just started wiping off tables, throwing salt packets, crumbs anything on the table onto the floor. She then went back to the kitchen and got a dustpan with a handle and a broom and came out there dragging chairs away from the tables loudly while we were all having lunch. When she finally made it to the side that we were sitting on, I asked her could she please pick up the chairs instead of dragging them so loudly because they were squealing so loud and it was making it such an unpleasant environment for us to enjoy our lunch. She rudely looked at me and said ma'am I have to get these tables cleaned up and I have to get this floor swept. I didn't say anymore. She kindly kept dragging the chairs and pushing them under the table and making so much noise and it was very unpleasant. When she completed what she was doing she went back to the kitchen and I'm assuming that she told her shift manager or whoever was in charge at the time that I'd ask her not to drag those chairs so loudly. Well her manager then came out and started banging the chairs around all around us. And I just smiled at her and told her you're really cute. She continued to do that about 5 more minutes and then went back behind the counter.. Never even washed her hands and started handling food. I definitely found the staff in here. Very unprofessional and very rude. I certainly hope that this comment makes it all the way to the franchise owner because my intentions are definitely to reach the franchise owner myself. The little plump girl that was in charge. I hope you got your point across cuz there's so many people that watched you that shook their heads and undoubtedly were sick to their stomach. Not a place I'll ever return to and I'm pretty sure there were a couple couples in there that would never return there either. My reviews will definitely reach Facebook, Instagram and everywhere else I can post them. I hope you've ruined the business for this establishment that we used to enjoy coming to. Sometimes it only takes one set or one rude employees, set of staff to cause people not to come back. Well the staff today in this Aiken South Carolina...

My 1st time eating here was in April 2024. I order here 4 times back to back via doordash. My 4th time ordering through DoorDash ended up with hair in my food !!! I called my name was written down. They said they would give me my whole order back to me. What really blew me is first I already had to drive up there such an inconvenience. When I did receive my order the fries they gave me were so freakin salty it was unbearable to eat as if they did that on purpose. THEY JUST POUR EXTRA SALT INTO MY BAG ‼️I was beyond upset. Money is not an issue & Never is for quality. If they wanted me to pay that would have been fine. If I knew they were just going to SABATOGE my food again I would have been done with them the 1st time they screwed up with the hair in my food. They will not be getting my money ever again. Hands down the best fast food quality burger in town.

Be aware that the regular hamburger is a double patty. They have started mentioning this when you order, so maybe they've gotten some complaints about that. A regular fry is plenty for two people to split, so if you are ordering alone consider a small. You also have to mention all the toppings you want on the burger, but all toppings are free.

Staff is friendly and I've never had an issue with them. Restaurant has been clean every time I've been in as well. You'd think they would have a hard time keeping up with the cleanliness because they provide peanuts before your meal, but those crumbs are always swept.

I wouldn't recommend using the entrance from Whiskey if you are taking a left into the parking lot. There is a smaller entrance on the side street that works...
