Virginia Acres Park is a wonderful spot for both families and individuals looking for a peaceful outdoor experience in Aiken. One of Aiken, SC's gems. Do much to do. Great new children's playground. They have a disc golf course, open field for team sports like soccer (saw a frisbee football game going on a couple of weeks ago), the one mile oval track is used by many for walking, running, skating and there is a resistance training section with several different devices. Family-friendly, bubbling, all American park. Padded playground with the safety of our future in mind. However, the carolina bay and climbing wall across the street are teaming with drunkards and many unfortunate homeless. Aiken really works hard at sweeping them under the rug, arresting them or ignoring them. 🤔 they're people too. Also, its O. DELL WEEKS...NOT Virginia Acres.
