Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Akron

The delivery people tend to be nice, and they come pretty quickly, but the actual food tends to be lacking more often than not. When I ordered today, I received cucumbers on my sandwich despite not having asked for them. In addition, the whole sandwich looked very messy, as if they just didn't care about presentation. l was also upset that when I ordered, the sprouts were not an option that was listed, whereas in the past I have ordered them as they were delicious. The sprouts have always been my favorite option, and a big draw to Jimmy Johns in the first place. Without that option, I don't really think that Jimmy Johns is worth the effort. In the future, I think I will only order it if a group of my friends or coworkers are also ordering it, but not so much on my own. As another anecdote, The only other draw that Jimmy Johns had for me was their "unwich" option. However, I have never quite had the courage to order that again after what happened the last time. By this, of course, I mean when my sandwich arrived wrapped in unwashed lettuce, leading to a mouthful of dirt. As much as I had loved the healthy alternative before, I cannot bring myself to do so again. I will say that, when I called and complained about this, they offered to send me a new sandwich (this time I requested it be made with bread), so that was nice. Still, probably done ordering on my own from here. Sorry, Jimmy Johns. Looks like it's time to up...

Picked up a 4 person order for our law office. Sandwiches potato chips, drinks, and a cookie when I asked for one of the boxes to help carry the food the employees acted like I was asking for $1 million and would not give me one. Finally I got an extra bag for the potato chips and left. I had to go back because they forgot the chocolate chip cookie, I noticed when I got back in the car, one of the bags had torn with the sandwiches in it, which made it difficult for me to get the food up to the office all at once. Because all the staff was busy working on last minute legal briefs and others were out of the office for the day. I guess boxes that they use for delivery are too expensive to let customers with a $46 order have one. I’ve never been a fan of Jimmy John’s anyway, now...

As a stagehands who finds himself often ordering out for food, I tried to order from this place as I have about 50 other times. Ordering before, I have never had trouble giving the location as the Star Door at EJ Thomas hall at the intersection of Hill St. and Buchtel Ave. Tonight in trying to order. I had a very rude young lady who refused to deliver to an "intersection". After repeated tries to explain that it wasn't an intersection but a reference point, I asked to talk to a manager. As I tried to explain that I've never had this problem before, he said that they couldn't deliver to an intersection. As I tried to further explain, he hung up on me. I will NEVER eat at a Jimmy John's again and will discourage anybody I talk to to...
