$2.75 for 1/2 pound and a can of Coke. Yeah ! How inexpensive is that?VERY INEXPENSIVE . I got the unsalted shelled/blanch peanuts. I was looking for a healthy, good nutrition/nourishing snack and I found it.If your looking for something healthy for your kids to snack on, well they have it right at The Peanut Shoppe in downtown Akron. They also have other nuts like the ones I got, in essence , health related ,along with a wonderful assortment of delicious chocolate covered nuts, yogurt covered raisins etc. They also have downtown specials . .50 cents off a pound,.25 cents of yogurt for card holders . The Peanut Shoppe of Akron's website is a really good link to all the activities and happenings in downtown Akron, including 3rd Thursdays.
I think if you're going to downtown Akron, and you are getting there a little early, then the Peanut Shoppe is a great stop in for those times when you are waiting for a the Akron Rubber Ducks baseball games to start, or for the Lock 3 or 4 events to open up or even maybe for some of the earlier shows at the beautiful Akron Civic Theater, maybe even if your waiting for a ride on Akron's Metro buses too. The Peanut Shoppe closes at 5 Pm, but sometimes it does remain open a bit longer. I can see why the Peanut Shoppe of Akron has a score of 4.9 out of 50 reviews. Nice people , fresh products in an attractive price ranges.
