Absolutely delicious!!! I spent four months in Nepal in 2015 and this food tastes exactly how I remember, maybe even better. All the ingredients were fresh and everything was homemade. My partner had never had Momo's so of course we had to get some with chicken, and the Vegetable Khana had a variety of delightful foods all with vibrant flavors, dhal soup exactly as I remember, and a perfect hot sauce on the side. We ate everything! Even though our bellies were full, we felt energized from all the fresh ingredients, not sluggish or weighed down. It would be very easy to find vegetarian food here, but there are also plenty of meat options for the omnivores.

When we were there, there were only a few other tables occupied. This place needs way more business! The prices are affordable if you get a few dishes to split and our server was very kind. If you want amazing, authentic, incredibly fresh Nepali food, Momo House is the place to go! We will be back!...

I recently had an unsatisfactory experience at Momo House in Akron, OH (44310). The food I ordered tasted like it was not fresh, with an unpleasant lime and sekuwa odor. The overall quality was subpar, and I believe improvements are necessary for a Nepali restaurant.

My main concern is the lack of responsiveness to customer complaints. When I raised my concerns, I received a dismissive response, stating they never heard of any issues. A more customer-friendly approach would be to acknowledge the concerns, assure improvements, and prioritize fresh, healthy, and hygienic food.

I'm willing to pay extra for quality and better services, but it's crucial for Momo House to address customer complaints respectfully and transparently. As a Nepali restaurant, maintaining clarity and respect in communication will contribute to a more positive dining experience...

Our experience at this restaurant was disappointing from the moment we walked in. Despite arriving at 9 PM—well within their posted hours (open until 10 PM)—the hostess/waitress greeted us by saying the restaurant would be closing soon. This immediately created a negative first impression.

We ordered Chicken Chowmein, Chicken Fried Rice, and Chilli Chicken. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was very poor. The Chowmein was overly salty and the chicken had a rubbery texture. The Fried Rice tasted old, and the chicken in that dish was no better—dry and rubbery. It truly ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend evening.

To make matters worse, when we tried to share our feedback with the staff, they showed no interest and didn’t even respond.

I would not recommend this restaurant. Both the food and service were far below acceptable...

Went there because I saw the five star reviews. Well, I doubt these reviews are truthful. Giving two stars because the service was good. However, their food was very oily! Food ordered was Jhol Momo, Fried Momo, Pyaji, and Chicken Chowmein. Now, even though it was more oily than normal, I don’t mind it for Fried Momo and Pyaji. However, I couldn’t even eat 20% of my Chowmein because there was just excessive oil. I tried to eat just the chicken in the Chowmein but after 2-3 pieces, I gave up on that too. We ate the Pyaji since that was brought to us right after the order. Jhol Momo was also okay. However, we left more than 80% of Chowmein and Fried Momo. This place is a new place, and I hope they use this review to improve their food. However, if you are one of those who likes to stay a bit on the healthy side, avoid this place.

I recently dined at MOMO House and ordered the Chicken Sekuwa and Mango Lassi. The Chicken Sekuwa, while not the best I’ve ever had, was still quite good, with rich, aromatic flavors and tender, juicy meat. The Mango Lassi was creamy, refreshing, and perfectly sweet. The service was just ok, with moments where it could have been more efficient. Overall, MOMO House offers a solid dining experience with delicious food and a welcoming ambiance. If you’re looking to explore Nepali cuisine, I recommend trying the Chicken Sekuwa and Mango Lassi. I will try the momo next time!

For those who understand and appreciate authenticity of traditional ethnic food, this recently opened Nepalese restaurant won’t disappoint! Absolutely delicious home-made MOMOS!!! The dough is thin and tender and the spices used in preparation are incredibly aromatic — the entire experience will make you want to come back for more😍 We are VEGAN and the chef gladly accommodated our diet preferences 🌱 It always feels good to support a small family business, but especially good when they put so much love and effort into it.
