Giant Eagle Supermarket — Local services in Cuyahoga Falls

Not sure what was going on with Mike (who ran the register) or what I did to ruin his day but he had absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. He was nice enough to the lady before me, talked/smiled took his time but when I got up next his whole demeanor changed. After I said hello to him and he didn't respond I got the impression this would be a transaction that would happen without words, which was exactly the case. He did not look at me, speak to me, and tapped the screen aggressively two times instead of saying what the prompts were on the screen (requiring my pin number and bypassing the coupons) and it takes a second to type in your phone number and last name because the lags on the screen but he acted like it was the most annoying and inconvenient thing in the world. I can't even say he was just having a bad day which normally I can write off but to see such a stark difference from the customer before me and myself was horrible and mind blowing. I never even leave surveys but it was such an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience and it only lasted a couple of minutes. He didn't even say anything when the transaction was done, not a single word. I am so put off by that interaction, I would've been better off going to self check out. For context, I only had one item to ring out so it's not even like I came with a cart...

They have Little to no organic produce choices at this giant eagle. I was quite disappointed. They had cilantro, parsley, and carrots. They did have boxed organic lettuce, but I like to have just a regular head of organic romaine. They did not have that. I wanted to get fish while I was there also. I’m not sure what day they get fish in on, But I picked out a fish and when the clerk went to pick it up, it looked like it was slimy or drippy so I asked if I could smell it before I bought it. It did not smell good so I did not buy it. I was there on a Sunday night so maybe they get their fish on Monday or Tuesday so don’t buy fish then on Sunday is my thought . I don’t know what day they get it in, but I do know is it wasn’t very fresh when I looked at it on Sunday evening. One of the other items I wanted to pick up while I was there was enjoy life mini chocolate chips they did not carry them. They only had your typical junk ingredient, chocolate chips, or chocolate chips with artificial sweetener. Giant Eagle in Akron Ohio is a very expensive store you can find it on Waterloo Road in Akron Ohio if you're hitting if you're heading towards Route 8 you can get off on Waterloo Road will take you down to Giant Eagle or if you're coming down Arlington Street you can turn off on Waterloo Road on left on Waterloo Road and coming straight down until you find a giant eagle on the left hand side or if you coming maybe coming down Brown Street or archwood Street or Firestone Boulevard you'll find it on either or Street and it'll bring you right onto Waterloo Road you can find all the stores and stuff that you want to go to on Waterloo Road but instead of going to Giant Eagle and shop for your food needs check out marks they have more reasonable prices fresh fruit fresh vegetables and fresh milk and at affordable prices and if you're not satisfied with them you can always go to BJ's and buy yourself a gallon of milk for only a dollar 99 and it's fresh and up-to-date you can find all your food and your grocery...
