Nothing better then rolling into Sonic for one of those large Route 44 drinks. Not easy to find in the dark because the sign isn't working correctly. Half of the order stations do Not work and you have to move to another stall. So Instead of going to a stall I went to the drive through. The menu sign looked broke and no light was on to see the menu. No answer on the intercom. Finally an employee came out to tell me to order at the window. All I wanted was a large sonic blast with M&M's. $9 dollars and some change for one drink??? I'm sorry but this isn't good business. 9 dollars and some change I can buy 2 gallons of ice cream and make it myself with a lot of extra to boot. Yes the convenience is nice but geez oh Pete that's too much for convenience. That's highway robbery. This place needs an update on many levels. The employees are fast and courteous and the food is good. The place just needs some work done on it and the prices need to be evaluated. Update Sonic's way of fixing a large Sonic Blast @ 9 dollars and some change. Take the large size totally off the menu and now forced to buy 2 mediums @ 7 dollars a piece. Instead of 1@$9 and change, it's2@ $14 and change. SMH disappointed to say the least. Won't be purchasing Blasts anymore. Update Nothing has changed unfortunately. which is a shame because I really enjoy Sonic. Totally forgot about the sizes and price gouging. hopefully in the future they will attend...
Read moreUPDATE - spoke with the general manager who was very considerate and understanding. Offered a gift card. Can’t delete my original post so I’ll upgrade.
I went here for a quick meal for my 3-year-old, 1-year-old, and myself. Have been coming for years. Tried to order on app, but it was not working. The stall wouldn’t scan my card nor would it let me pay with the all, as it wasn’t working. We were given our meal after waiting 25 minutes or so and the server took my card to run it elsewhere. Meanwhile, the kids get started eating. The server brought my card back, explaining that she had tried multiple scanners but that she couldn’t get it to scan and she “didn’t know how” to enter in the numbers on the back. She asked for an alternative form of payment which I did not have (I don’t typically carry cash anymore). She proceeded to tell me I would have to return the $9 meal (that the kids are already eating). I asked if she was serious, thinking maybe it was a joke? This was their error, their card readers that weren’t working. She said yes and I relinquished the food from not-so-happy toddlers and threw it away right in front of us. I promptly picked up food from a competitor (at which time I had no card issues) and then called the manager at this location. I was told this was policy?! I am disgusted and do not plan on returning to...
Read more2025: still bad. 25minutes waiting after app order. Screen went thru the whole it's in the kitchen then it's on the way and then nothing.pushed the buttons waited 5 minutes for answer. Called them 3 times and they would answer, I was mad and a bit loud mind you, then say okay and hang up.
2022: After 6 years this place has only gotten worse. The majority of there park n order menus are broken. I tried 6 different spots. SIX! None of the screens worked. I am not sure how OR WHY this location is still open.
From 2016: This place deserves a -5 stars. They are terruble and need new management. They are super slow and cannot even make drinks right. None of them seem to know how to give refunds after they overcharge [whuch has happened to me on multiple occassions]. Everytime I go it takes at least 15 to 20 minutes to get my order to me and I usually just order a few drinks. There are fewer than 3 cars total at the place and they still take 5 minutes to answer the button call. When there is a problem [and trust me you will have a problem] it will take 3 different employees to come and tell you the same thing "I have to get my general manager" until anything gets done. I have no idea what is going on with these guys but someone needs to get on it and fix this place....
