SureStay Plus by Best Western Alamogordo White Sands — Hotel in Alamogordo

We arrived early for check in. We were on motorcycles so sitting in the lob was better than riding in the hear, 100+F). The place was full the night before so the cleaning staff was running behind since almost all guests checked out this day and some late.|Plus we reserved two special rooms. Waiting was not a problem.|The ladies at the desk were pleasant. They even let us bring some beer into the lobby to drink while we waited, as long as we behaved. I hope this didn't get anyone in trouble. |The rooms were clean and large king rooms. The AC was on and set cold. Happy for that. Room was a great value for the price! ($98). It had been recently remodeled and had a “hardwood” floor and granite counters. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean. It was everything I hope for in a hotel EXCEPT we were surprised to find that all rooms have exterior doors and that makes me a little uncomfortable. Plus, parking was limited and since our car was loaded with personal items after a winter in the sun, it made me uncomfortable to have to park our car on the other side of the building. Room was very nice and well maintained. The location is central to everything we were doing there. My man criticism is the breakfast in the morning. It was absolutely terrible. We stayed here specifically for the breakfast and to say it was phoned in would’ve been a compliment. There wasn’t a single thing served which was good.
