Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Alamogordo

Typically when I go here the girls are always super sweet, the manager of this location is amazing and had my drink memorized within 2 visits. I’m leaving 3 stars because it really depends on who waits on me with the service and drink quality I get. Specifically the morning shifts - the younger ones fresh out of high school. One wears a couple class of 2024 bracelets with blue eyes and the other is white with brown curly hair. Anytime they wait on me my drinks are made wrong and the service is subpar, it feels me being there is a burden to them and they get visibly upset when you order more than one drink. Otherwise, the ladies here are really truly lovely. I’ve genuinely only had an issue with the 2 specific baristas (time and time again) so it seems that’s something that can be handled by management.

One thing I’d like to add is Dutch Bros needs to not leave their baristas alone in the building, ever. It is unreal that often times the baristas here open alone and are left alone until 6am. It is very unsafe and I’ve never even worked anywhere that will let you do a trash run alone after dark, let alone work completely alone in a building off of a...

Almost all of the employees are extremely friendly! They have memorized my drink order (probably because i’m there everyday) and always make me feel super valued! There’s always a wait but the employees are trying their best and I always plan to wait there for 20+ minutes which isn’t a big deal. Once again I love this location and the employees! But today there was a girl at the window and one of the line busters came outside and informed me that she did not want to talk to me or take my order because she has a problem with me (completely one sided :) ). I thought it was a very immature way to handle the situation. There was no need to send someone else to talk to me, I’m always extremely polite when she takes my order so to see this attitude back was upsetting. I usually don’t write reviews, but I feel compelled to share this experience. While waiting for my order, I witnessed an incredibly unprofessional and uncomfortable interaction between two staff members behind the bar. One of the employees—who had brown hair with a blonde streak, tattoos, and piercings—actually slapped the hand of a younger male coworker with glasses while they were making drinks together. The energy between them was tense and awkward, and it was obvious even from my spot outside the window. It was honestly shocking to see that kind of behavior in a workplace, especially in front of customers. It made the whole environment feel hostile and unwelcoming.
