This is a review from a couple who cooks well and has lived half a century. We went out for dinner this past Thursday evening. We had heard good things, so we tried it. The place was packed, every seat filled. We sat in the new addition area. There was absolutely NO heat, everyone in the addition ate dinner with their winter jackets on. We brought this to the female owner's attention. She replied that the A/C wasn't working and back ordered. We ordered the couple dinner special. The crab wantons had so little cream cheese and no crab. The wonton soup held two wontons in broth that couldn't have been much darker than clear water, very tasteless. The lo mein looked like ramen pride noodles only loaded with bean sprouts. Beef and broccoli had no sauce, what so ever. The spicy orange chicken contained a full cup of dried, un-reconstituted peppers and dried to a crisp orange peel slices. We were expediently served our appetizers and soup then waited 45 minutes for the entree portions. The price for this was $70. The young waitress (blonde) was very poliet, conscienous, and done her best to what she had to work with. The server was abrupt and lacking direction, of even which table to deliver to. This place pushes out poorly prepared, tasteless food overpriced. Sorry, would not recommend or...
Read moreStaff was absolutely incredible. Everything made to order. Emily was terrific! Brought my wife to see the dunes and falls in alamosa for her birthday when we decided to stop in for lunch after a hike with our son. The food was just as above and beyond our expectation. I got the curry (and asked if they could make it extra spicy) and I wasn’t disappointed whatsoever. My wife (who is vegan) got the sesame tofu and was blown away by the texture and flavor. My son (who is very picky) had the chicken fried rice (again, made to order) and left almost nothing on the plate by the end of our meal.
We will absolutely be recommending anyone we know who is coming this way to stop in and and we’ll be returning whenever we make our way back. The only unfortunate thing I could say about this place is it isn’t anywhere near our home, otherwise we would definitely...
Read moreI'm sure everyone in this place means well, but I don't think they have the talent. I ordered chicken LO MEIN and they gave me chicken chow mein. I also order Kungpao chicken. And two sides of soups. Both main dishes were not good at all, served in small portions with a overcooked crab rangoon and spring roll. The soups were the only thing that saved the meal. I wouldn't have had so much of a problem with the smaller servings if any of it was good. Plus 38$ for all of it and it wasn't good? I should've gone to Thai Hut, at least the food would've been satisfying. I'm not sure who's cooking back there but they can't be happy sending stuff like this out. Should've taken a pic to show it off, but I'm very busy. Get better people to listen for pick up orders and get your cook to do better or get another. DON'T GO HERE TILL THAT HAPPENS. I...
