Alright so 3 stars hope this review helps.
Good: We really liked the vibe and overall feel for the place. The dining areas were clean and the shabu shabu spot was really cool. The customer service was above and beyond the normal restaurant experience, but that’s where it starts going down hill.
Mid: Their takoyaki was actually good, the flavor of the sauce and octopus really helped with the steaming mini-balls that entered your mouth.
Bad: Food. We ordered four ramen bowls, but unfortunately three of them came warm and the noodles were still stuck together… think of the costco bowl noodles you heat up in the microwave. The spicy flavor for the ramen was pretty alright, but it just wasn’t the best experience. Same for their yakisoba, ours was a little bit underwhelming in the noodles department as well. We also ordered the teriyaki chicken and although the color was a bit off, the food was alright. Finally we ordered a pretty normal Tiger sushi roll, that was good as well, just not something we would pay for that price.
Notes: The service was REALLYYYY slow. We understand that there are other customers to take care of, but when we were there the building looked practically empty, so it didn’t make sense why it took almost an hour for our food to be delivered. On top of that, the waiters kept coming back asking what we ordered and what was missing from our order. One funny moment was when they brought ANOTHER bowl of ramen after we had finished eating and asked if we ordered another bowl😂.
Overall, I would recommend going here but only after they really get their feet on the ground. It seems as though they still need to work on communication and a better system for taking orders, cooking the food, and service the food at an efficient manner. I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but there are also other restaurants that can provide slightly better quality food and...
Read moreI’ve been here twice now, and both times I enjoyed my food. The menu is fun and varied and I think I would enjoy exploring more of their dishes. I like the atmosphere of the space and think it’s good for groups big and small.
However, both times my experience with the service was below average. Most of the staff seems to be friendly, but they were slow and inattentive. Slow to take our orders, food was slow to come out, appetizers/sides/drinks were forgotten and delayed, drinks weren’t refilled. I struggled to get their attention when needed and noticed that they’d often walk past without even glancing our direction. Last night my husband had to actually get up and go find a staff member because we were being ignored for so long. I don’t mind waiting, especially when things are busy, but completely ignoring tables is an area I think in which I hope they improve.
Overall, I enjoy the food and atmosphere, I just hope that the service improves because this place has...
Read moreThe food had good flavor. And the food is displayed nicely. Also the staff was very friendly! There are three reasons why I'm not giving a full five stars though. My poke was not cut properly. Instead of individual cubes three separate times I pick up a piece and it was attached to another piece and I didn't like that. I'm not sure what to say except sharpen your knives! Also, the music was so loud to me. Maybe if it was more packed with people I wouldn't have noticed so much of the music. But I'm not interested in listening to loud hip hop in a sushi restaurant when I'm trying to have a quiet lunch. And the last reason I can't give 5 stars is I had a hard time reading the writing on their menu. They had red lamps and the menu had red writing on it. And I had a really hard time reading the red writing under the red lamps. It was weird and I wonder if I have something wrong with...
