A welcome addition to Sitka’s food scene. Young Chefs bringing authentic regional Mexican food to the table. Have been twice during their soft opening and was very pleased both times. Is a take out place with a couple of booths if you are eating on the run. Fresh salsas, hand made tortillas, beautiful food you will want to order a medley to take home and plate and share. So far my favorites are the Taco del Perro and Carne Con Queso Torta, best sandwich in town!

4 Stars – Mexican Spot with Surprisingly Great Halibut Not sure if it was a daily special, but the halibut fish and chips was excellent, crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Since it’s a Mexican restaurant, they also served chips and salsa alongside the dish, which was an unexpected but pleasant touch. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food overall was very good. Just be prepared, as prices here are definitely on the high side.

We were intrigued by the menu and tried out Yuyo's while we were in town for a week. When we walked in, we were a little confused because it did but look like a restaurant but the seating is in a back room. We were one of two tables in the dining area. The service was ok, not amazing but not terrible. The server was nice enough but not over the top friendly. I felt she seemed more shy or introverted than anything else. We ordered a carne asada sandwich and my husband and I split the full triple quesadilla with carne asada. The chips were delicious, perfectly crispy and salted. The server refilled our basket once when we asked. The carne asada was tender but not terribly flavorful. I felt that it needed a little bit more spice or something. I am not sure if I'd come back unless I was really craving...

JOEL is great with customer service. However. Ordered a simple Sonoran dog with no onions (allergy). Rec'd a sonoran dog loaded with onions but with no bacon, called back, Joel (again) was great, apologized and said another is on the way. Got the replacement within 20 minutes, HOWEVER, unlike the menu which clearly states "... Bacon wrapped dog..." ther was no bacon to be found within that nice bun, the hot dog is not the same as before the holidays (only fills about half the bun) .

2 strikes sadly, as I have really enjoyed yuyo's in the past, but I am more of a softball guy so 2 strikes is it, I don't wait for the 3rd strike.

Usually I love ordering from here, but lately they've become disappointing. They were about 20 minutes late with my order, screwed me out of 3 bucks for extra dulce de leche sauce and delivered dry sopapillas with only one cup of sauce. On top of that, they gave me a pizza they had on the heater, and offered me a discount for a future order.

What good is your discount if you can't complete the order correctly? What good is that pizza oven if I'm not getting fresh pizza?

Not sure what happened with you guys, but you don't deserve the 1 star I have to give.

Update: had the pizza on the heater and still couldn't cut the pizza?...
