I'm so exhausted with McDonald's performance on Dawson Rd by the Albany Mall. I ordered a Travis Scott combo w/fries no salt and a large diet Dr. Pepper. Upon receiving my order at the second window I checked inside after asking for extra napkins and found grease, along with lettuce all over the burger container. To top it off part of the meat patty was closed up inside the container hanging out...SMH🤦♀️ I asked the cashier was this typical standards and she shrugged her shoulders 🤷♀️. I immediately requested a manager for further assistance. A young African American male with dreads approached the window to access the situation. I showed him the spectacle or HOT MESS of a sandwich and inquired about the presentation of my order. He asked me to pull forward and it would be remade. Fast forward 10mins later and still no one approached my vehicle with a remake. My impatience led me to drive around and get out my vehicle to go inside for more info. Unfortunately, McDonald's had the dining room closed to the public, so I knocked on the door. By the way, I'm no longer a happy camper either, but the manager I'd spoken to saw me and came to the door. He was under the impression I was long gone. I expressed my frustration about the entire situation and wanted to know how'd it be rectified. He went to his fellow crew members to inquire about the Travis Scott burger and no one knew anything...REALLY🤔. So, he asked one of them to remake the burger. After FINALLY receiving my accurate Travis Scott burger. I expressed my dismay for how the situation was handled and asked him if the shoe were on the other foot...how'd he feel about the situation at hand. He agreed not good and I asked him how should this situation be corrected. Therefore, I asked for a refund on my order and took my Travis Scott combo home 🏡. The actual manager finally came over to assist to process my return. He made no attempt or effort to resolve the issues in the very beginning. He wasn't a great problem solver and didn't lead his shift leader with a great example to follow up. Overall, my experience at the Albany Mall McDonald's was extremely poor and lacked proper engagement. The management and staff had no sense of urgency and lacks professionalism. Regardless of what industry you're employed in...the individual(s) should be able to conduct themselves professionally and have general foundations on how to successfully perform the tasks at hand, along with the overall job performance. Read moreWhat kills me about this location is its like the service somehow goes down consistently every year but this year they just throw anything out the drive thru. I received a burger and when I opened it after I left I knew that these people rushed to make it or something happened where someone was frustrated and just threw the burger together anyway knowing it wasn't up to their standards and hoping I wasn't going to say anything. This burger was soggy with grease and fell apart and the patties were 2 different sizes and NOT the typical visual you'd usually see it looked as if I was training my toddler to cook which is cute for a toddler but not when I'm spending my hard earned money like if you all didn't care that much what goes to the customer why even bother working there. Seriously it's burgers and fries how do you really mess that up that bad! You guys were better off making me wait for a new one rather than just giving me that one which was completely careless. Read moreFood is rarely fresh. If you special order something be sure to check it. I dont think they require people to read special order slips. Then when you do get something special ordered it is so messy since it was an inconvenience for them to make it that they make it messy. Also asking your employees to have manners and be able to speak in full sentences is too much to ask for.
Downgrade to previous post. The two managers that were there today were incredibly rude. I don't think I have ever had a manager start giving attitude right from the get go. Spent over 20 minutes in line for a 6 piece and drink. Then get to the window only to not have my order correct. The manager snapped at me when I started asking where my order was. Told me rudely that they were short handed and having issues. That is not the customers fault. If you can't hire enough people then you should close your doors for good.
