I have spent a lot of money at this location over the past 10 years. Me and my wife are regulars here. 01/03/2024 at 5:36pm my wife ordered an online order on the mobile app for the delivery method to be pickup in drive thru. She already had her ordered paid for and put in before she even got to the speaker. Someone instructed her to pull around to curbside that there were other orders before me.. that makes no sense. They can prepare my order like they do everyone else’s who orders at the drive thru speaker and have it ready! She let that go, and she gets home to open the food and the salad has no ranch but straight honey mustard and the finger plate had teriyaki sauce. I called the manager because my wife just wasted money there. A lady answered the phone and agreed to a full refund. My wife checks her email and they only refunded $5. I call up there today and tell them that’s not going to work and they refunded $12.08. I called and spoke to a manager and said she didn’t know what happened that she will talk to the manager and call me back. I just want to know who runs this place? I know this can’t be Dulce running it because she would NEVER act like that. I live in Norwood and I’m not...

I was on the fence about 2 or 3 stars. I ultimately went with 2 for a couple of reasons.

First, their drink machine is constantly down, or they are out of a certain kind of soda and just won't refill it. There are so many fast food places that have this type of Coke machine and they are never out of certain flavors/types or broken completely. When they are empty and you tell the staff at places that have the same type of Coke machine they refill it. Not Zaxby's! I've been to several locations over the years and this is a consistent issue at all of them. The Albemarle on is by far the worst with the drink machine, but they are all pretty bad in general. When you tell the staff it's out they look puzzled or flat out don't care. Why is this such an issue at Zaxby's and no other fast food places I've ever been to? Is it training on how the machine works or how to service it?

Second is the inconsistency in quality of service and food. It's so hit or miss. For what they are charging for the food there should be more consistency. If they want to compete with Chick-FIL-a they need to do a better job of training the management and staff at the restaurants on customer service...
