Blakes nearly always satisfies! However I am now changing my review due to incidents this morning.
My wife called in an order because we cannot use the internet ordering because there is no option to remove eggs and remove cheese. This is normally not an issue but now that the calls are outsourced it is problematic. We requested three #3 without eggs and cheese because we are eat only plant based diet. We requested Christmas chile, add chopped green, add grilled onions, and add tomatoes. Normally only the chopped green is an additional fee, the other adds are substitutes for the egg and cheese removal. Anyway the agent at 1st said some nonsense about the green chile already included because of the green sauce so she explained the difference. Then we were given an inflated total of over $25 when it should have been $19 and change. We said no thank you because of all the up charges and hung up, I was going to go place order in person instead. Shortly after the call center called my wife back on her cell and said the order was fixed and gave total on $19 and change. I proceeded to drive to pick up. At window I was told a total of $25.58! I said this was wrong and we were told $19 on phone. The location manager told me that she could not change anything so I went ahead and paid and said I would take it up with main office. I was charged extra for the red sauce, chopped green (expected), the added tomatoes, and crispy hash browns! So when we proceeded to eat the burritos we discovered that there was no green sauce, no tomatoes, the hash browns were not crispy, and virtually no chopped green. In a nutshell both the call center and location failed to provide adequate customer service and failed to provide any of the product that was paid extra for. Read moreBad experience with manager and employee Crystal. I simply wanted what I paid for. I bought a chili cheese dog, a hotdog meal, a kids meal and a lemonade. The kids meal comes with chicken tenders, fries, and chocolate milk/water. The girl charged me for a lemonade, and when we asked her for the drink that COMES WITH THE KIDS MEAL she said she can’t give that to me because the drink was the lemonade, but she CHARGED me for the lemonade. My son’s fries weren’t in the bag either. I am paying for the these things, so all I was wanting was to get WHAT I PAID FOR. Nothing more, nothing less. When I asked to speak to the manager, he didn’t know what he was reading on the receipt, and read it front of us like it was written in a foreign language. I’ve been waiting for him to come back to resolve this in a professional manner, and he’s yet to come back. He actually got upset that I told him that I would leave a bad review if I didn’t get what I paid for and he responded, “Or I could just give you your receipt back. Go ahead and leave us a bad review.” It’s so SIMPLE to be nice to a paying customer rather than be so rude about a mistake you and your employee make. Also, if you’re wanting a hotdog, THEY DO sell them. We pulled up and the girl said they don’t carry hotdogs. LOL what kind of Blake’s is this?! This was an awful experience and a bad way to end a long work day. Thanks Blake’s!
Update — he gave us the water we paid for, and the fries they forgot to put in the bag, but after we were waiting for a while for an update. When he gave us our items he didn’t say anything but “Your receipt is in the bag.” All I can say ask at the end of this transaction is, who are they hiring to run their stores??? Read moreI would like to share one of those rare moments where Blake’s left me disappointed. Tell me why I go to get my regular breakfast sandwich with bacon and they go and give me sausage. I’m not mad about that. I understand people make mistakes all the time, but normally people would also fix their mistake as soon as you bring it to their attention—that wasn’t the case at the Albuquerque location on Menaul and Rhode Island. I ordered at 10:47 am. I made it all the way home before realizing the order was incorrect. When I returned at 11:09 am instead of offering to fix my sandwich, I was told to “come back tomorrow because breakfast is over.” The employee offered me a burger instead, which if I wanted a burger, I would’ve shown up during lunchtime. Then when I start asking questions about the refund policy the employee took it upon himself to throw my incorrect order in the trash without getting 100% confirmation for me that the refund is what I’m wanting to do. So he threw away my food, told me he couldn’t fix it until tomorrow…the one option left at this point is to get my money back, right? Well apparently not - when I asked for the refund the employee told me he couldn’t refund it because their system doesn’t work with my card for refunds. I asked if he could give cash- Flat out said, “no.” So I didn’t get to get any food nor my money back when all this person had to do was remake 2 breakfast sandwiches that someone messed up in the first place.
