Deeply Disappointed by Racist Treatment
I am extremely disappointed by recent experience. What was supposed to be a routine visit turned into an unsettling and disheartening encounter due to blatant racism displayed by a white women that assist me.
From the moment I arrived, I noticed a stark difference in how I was treated compared to other customers. I was spoken to with unwarranted hostility, ignored when trying to ask for assistance, and subjected to passive-aggressive remarks that were both inappropriate and discriminatory. Meanwhile, customers of a different background were treated with politeness and attentiveness. The contrast was undeniable and deeply upsetting.
When I attempted to raise my concerns, they were either dismissed or met with defensiveness rather than accountability. No one should have to experience prejudice, especially in a public space where all patrons should be treated equally and with respect.
Racism has no place in any business, and I sincerely hope the management takes this matter seriously. This is not just about poor customer service — it’s about basic human dignity. I will not be returning, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone until meaningful changes are made and staff are properly trained in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for leadership to reflect on their values and take real steps toward creating an environment where everyone...
Read moreWent in for a simple fingerprinting, wearing my hospital badge amidst the huge omicron surge. Not only were no employees masked (in a situation where the person had to stand right next to me) but I was asked to remove mine and generally mocked and intimidated for doing so. After all this time, with everything in the news, really? I remarked that since I work in a hospital, it was best that I keep it on to protect her, and she informed me that really she felt that she was in more danger from people wearing "dirty" masks. Yes, thank you, I will clearly take my medical advice from the lady running background checks and ignore my healthcare providers and coworkers. Lots of people think this, but apparently the simple standard of "saying nothing" rather than "clearly trying to score political points against a customer, who works in HEALTHCARE" was too difficult for them. I guess it was clear I couldn't just bail since my employer wouldn't pay for a second set of prints, I will never use this location again. This combination of ignoring science, carelessness about our community health, and just plain antagonistic rudeness is really special, for those of you who like such things. She and her bystander coworkers looked very smug and proud of themselves for "standing up" to this exhausted healthcare worker just trying to make it...
Read moreI scheduled online and paid for an appointment for fingerprinting at Desert Wolf Security through IdentoGo. When I showed up, their office was closed. I knocked repeatedly and called as well as texted, all without a response. After over 20 minutes of waiting, I found another agency down the road, MVD Plus at 8230 Menaul Blvd NE, that was able to get me in promptly. I called Desert Wolf Security days later for a refund and was told they must have been closed that day and IdentoGo should have known. While at their location, I checked IdentoGo again and they were still accepting appointments for that day. A few hours later, they were not. The lack of communication on the part of Desert Wolf Security was highly unprofessional. It has been over a month and after multiple communications sent to IdentoGo, I still have not received a reply...
