For someplace so empty, you’d think that you’d get better service. We sat for over 20 minutes waiting for someone to come take our drink order- even then I had to flag someone down. It looked like there were multiple wait staff and there were only six tables. The waiter that eventually helped us was nice and attentive when he came by, but the food took forever to come out - and definitely wasn’t worth the wait. The restaurant serves very basic menu items, so it was a bit perplexing why it took so long and why it was so badly done. (My French toast was rock hard- like it had been microwaved) We ended up waiting another 20 minutes to get our check- even after another staff member asked if we needed it. I am a guest at The Clyde and went downstairs to Carries restaurant to place an order to go. The hostess took my order then brought my check. I did not leave a tip because I wasn’t staying to eat. When she brought my food she was very unfriendly. I looked in the bag and asked if there was plastic wear and she very rudely said yes, it’s in there. I commented on her rude behavior and she said “you didn’t tip!” So apparently if you don’t tip (for no service) you receive very rude customer service. Would not recommend. As soon as we walked in, there's a sign that said to wait to be seated. Waited for 5 minutes and no one ever came to sit us. We ended up seating ourselves. Fast forward to receiving the food - my wife and I both ordered the 18 hr brisket hash and it tasted VERY old. It had such a bad rancid taste we had to tell the waiter we could not stomach it.
