We just finished our volunteer work with the Fiesta and checked online for a good chinese restaurant. This one is tops! Friendly staff, great you enthusiastically on the phone (I called to be sure they didn't use MSG and to get their hours) as well as upon entering the restaurant. Very clean and comfortable dining. The food was delicious. My husband and I both ordered the wanton soup and egg rolls and found them to be superior to our favorite restaurant back east! I ordered the beef hot pot, and the waitress quickly asked if I was ok with fat. She likened it to pork bellies I don't like a lot of fat, and she suggested the beef entre on the back side of the menu. It came in a bubbling hot brown sauce, very tender beef, potato and chinese cabbage stew. My husband order Mixed Vegetables with beef, also superb. Even the hot tea was tasty.

Read moreAbsolutely HORRENDOUS food. It makes no sense how they’re still in business unless New Mexicans just have terrible taste in “chinese” I mean it. Awful. Do not waste your money. The combination fried rice is pale, with zero flavor, and just 2 shrimp. TWO. In my entire life of ordering combination fried rice I have never seen anything more unappealing and disgusting. 2 single shrimp and nothing but greyish chicken. No extra onions as we requested with an up-charge being okay. On to the Singapore noodles: No shrimp, no sauce, just purely dry ultra thin noodles beyond the normal. No Onions, no peppers, no flavor. Extra dry. Avoid this place. Or try it at your own risk. Going back to double dragon. We figured we’d give a new place a shot. Big mistake. 🤢 In the photos you will see that we added our own green onions to the fried rice in what turned out to be a futile attempt to make it any better. It was also separated into two containers. 1 single shrimp per serving and it’s steamed not...
Read moreI am a regular at China Luck. My family and I go here at least once a week. They always try their best to satisfy us. I haven't really had a problem with food at all. I've tried many dishes but one of my favorite is the lo mien noodles. Its very delicious. The price is pretty good for the serving amount. I usually end up with left overs. They also have very authentic Chinese food in the special menu that you cannot get anywhere else in ABQ. One of my favorite from that menu is the Chicken Hot Pot. It's like basil and ginger in a kind of sweet sauce. I highly recommend it...
