First time eating Thai food in the United States. Had eaten food in Thailand months ago and continued to miss everything about the country. We came across this restaurant on Google maps when looking up Thai food. It was on our way so we stopped to eat. The menu had alot of familiar foods like pad Thai and mango sticky rice. But it had some unique options too. All of it looked good and was tempted to but the entire menu. Had the tom kha and the pad phong karee. And OMG! The food was delicious! 😋 The family who owns the restaurant is from Thailand and the food reflects it wonderfully. Our waitress and waiter were nice. Got a pad cashew to go which I am already going to claim that it is really good as well. The ambiance is great and there are samples of Thai culture on the walls as well such as the front of a tuk tuk on the wall. Food came out timely overall. Got their mango sticky rice and it was delicious as well. Out waitress also gave some education on the type of rice used in the sficky rice. I don't have anything bad to say about this restaurant. I will be going again and recommend anyone do the same if they want something different than typical American food and authentic. Pray for well wishes and success to this restaurant. ...
Read moreThis is the first thai place we have had in Albuquerque, and it doesn't disappoint. Not at all. It has a nice cute vibe, you can kind've see Sandia from this location inside, and the details in this place are top notch. The have a hand painted drawing, the tuk tuk taxi cabs, and a nice decor.
We had the spring roles, and the peanut sauce is fantastic. Nice little appetizer before the real meal. We tend to cook yellow curry's and pad thai. The pad thai here is similar to what we make, which is rare for us to find. There is plenty of sauce, flavor, and we could go alittle higher on spice next time. Overall, the pad thai was enough just to split.
The yellow curry, absolutely amazing. It's in our top 5 for currys. This has more of a street feel, vs like Samui Thai in Legacy west (Dallas). It's delicious, and everything is cooked well.
What sets this place apart, it is the decor and the service. Super friendly, nice staff. I'm a fan...
