Where do I begin. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot someone was screaming out the 3rd floor telling someone to go * themselves. Walking into the motel quite literally was a treasure. Never in my entire life did I expect to walk into 2 doors covered in lexan. Not glass in the doors but Lexan held in with self tappers. Not only that, but the doors were just barely hanging on.|After checking in and given room keys, and ignoring the Giant crate sitting in the middle of the hall, we approached the elevator. And oh my was I surprised to see a bullet hole in the door. Upon entering this elevator wow was I greeted by a smell. I would describe it as urine masked with a hint of vanilla. The Graffiti on the door was of the highest quality, and the creak the elevator made as we approached the second floor reassured me that this couldn't get worse. And then the doors opened. I was made more assured that this location was high quality by the bullet proof glass in the elevator hallway. Venturing to our room the smell could only be described as a hospital and wow. Opening the room door we were greeted by a light switch that didn't work nor had any idea what it actually did. After wandering in the dark we found another light switch that I can only describe as the lighting of a horror film. Both lights flickered until finally one stayed lit. The plugs for the outlets and USB chargers did not work whatsoever. I needed to wash my hands and as I turned the sink on I was greeted by a fountain of water soaking me. The toilet was well used as well came with a toilet side bottle opener. Continuing with this Oasis in the New Mexico desert. Being really tired (after driving 13 hours and being up for another 4) we tried to sleep unaware of the horrors this room would reveal in the sunlight. Approximately an hour after we were trying to sleep I was awoken by a screaming child. Later in the night I was once more awoken by someone screaming I will ** kill you and someone running up and down the hallway. The door latch was unsecure. I went to the door to look and the hallway was pitch black as the lights were off for some reason. I did not sleep anymore after that. I refused to get under the covers and upon daylight I was glad of my decision. Blood stains and burn marks along with other unmentionable sights greeted me. Upon seeing that it was time to leave.|If you were looking for a great horror themed Motel, I would highly recommend this Motel 6. I am traumatized, and have never in my entire life ever stayed in a Motel 6 that was this bad. And the screaming in the night and running up and down the hallways is something I will need therapy for. Thank you for this...
Read moreMe and my wife had stayed here for well over a week. I was approached by the cleaning lady on the 2nd floor and she told me “No smoking, no smoking cigarette!” I then told her “what are you talking about nobody is smoking in my room. I just so happened to be going to the vending machine when she was making rounds. Mind you we are in a whole hall of other guests staying there. I went downstairs and let the manager know. She immediately had an attitude and said if I had an issue with there cleaning personnel that she should not extend our stay. I told her I had no issue and just let her know I was upset because the cleaning lady accused me of smoking cigarettes. Also I don’t smoke cigarettes either. 35-40 mins later we booked our room once again online as we always do.. we went downstairs to check in and the same manager told us that we were on a “DNR List” because me and my wife were smoking pills in the room. 😂 I nor my wife has ever touched a pill in our life. The manager was standing firm that we were guilty with no proof other than the cleaning lady saying she smelled smoke and they came to the conclusion of making up a false story to have us removed for whatever reason. APD was called and a report was filed. The manager told the officer that they weren’t sure exactly who it was but before the cops arrived she was very sure it was me and my wife. The officers went up to the room, which I voluntarily asked them to come up to verify that there was no smell of pills, cigarettes or marijuana. The officers confirmed that there was no smell of any drug use inside of that room. We also denied cleaning service and stayed in the same room for a whole week so if we were active users I’m pretty sure there would’ve been obvious evidence of drug use. Especially in our appearance. It was the most embarrassing and degrading situation we’ve ever been in. I’ve never ever been treated that way anywhere I. My life nor would I ever make someone feel the way we felt. There were numerous guests and other people going in and out witnessing us go through this. The manager neglected to give us any information to speak to hire ups and I had to google there corporate number to leave a report to hopefully get a call back from the leadership team. I strongly urge everyone to avoid staying at Motel 6 by pan American. The manager was the most unprofessional person I’ve ever seen. She kept on throwing comments at me and my wife trying to stir up an issue which is already a no go when you are in that position of power. Then she wants to accuse honest paying customers of something she had zero proof of. Contacted the news, and a few others. Hope to hear from you motel...
Read moreWow, I'm surprised how much I enjoyed my stay and am overall impressed by how high the quality is. This is my new first choice when I want to stay at a motel 6, especially since the price is lower here than anywhere else and the convenient location that is easy to find. The high quality rooms and nice showers are the best features. I was nice and high up on the third floor and the building is so big and has so many rooms that they were able to place me in a room where I didn't have any neighbors to take into consideration in the rooms neighboring mine and didn't have to worry about being too loud and complained about. The showers here are very nice which was a pleasant surprise because the last motel 6 I stayed at had very poor showers. The staff was highly professional, friendly, caring, kind, and always every single time either readily available or quickly responsive in assisting guests with accommodations. Customer satisfaction was always taken into consideration with high priority. If I had to think of something that could be improved or didn't like about my stay I guess I would say the floors could have been cleaner than they were and maybe they could add some laundry baskets somewhere (like maybe in the hallways) so that guests could properly dispose of dirty towels in the event that privacy becomes a factor that prevents the maids from entering the room when they come to clean. Also when I set the temperature on the thermostat to make the room warmer it took a long time to reach the desired temperature. Furthermore a table with coffee, cups, straws, creamer, and sugar for the lobby would be a great addition to the appearance of this motel as a classy place of high quality and customer satisfaction. Additionally if the TV in each room had access to Netflix (if it's possible) then I think many more rooms would be sold all the time and would add value to the price of each room that has Netflix. Finally the snack machine only takes coins (no bills) and the drink machine only takes...
