Squeezed Juice Bar-NE Heights — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Don’t punish yourself by going here like I did.

I saw Squeezed Juice Bar after picking up a med at Alchemist Compounders a few doors down in the same complex.

It was my first time at Squeezed. A bored-looking employee was leaning on the counter and while I looked at the menu on the wall didn’t greet me or ask if she could make suggestions. There were three employees there, all teenagers. While placing my order the employee plugged it in and then spun the iPad around toward me to input a tip. After that she went back to leaning on the counter. Again, no pleasantries, so I went into the lounge area to wait. I suppose that’s the level of customer service the business is fine with.

I ordered a medium SoBerrySlim, as their small options had been crossed out on their smoothies. The drink had raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, almond milk, protein, and ice.

Only one other customer was in the business, so I’m not sure why my drink took as long as it did. When I got it, I tried a sip while walking out and immediately dropped it into the trash can just inside the door as I exited. It tasted almost matcha/earthy without a hint of any sweetness. I imagine it’s the type of drink I’d buy if I was trying to punish myself for enjoying life.

Overall, don’t punish yourself. Bored teens will take a long while to make you a drink that tastes like unhappiness in smoothie form. I sure won’t...

I usually get a 16oz Heaven on Earth but today I decided to get a 24oz. When I took a sip I noticed the taste was Bland. I asked how many bananas they use for the 16oz she said 2 bananas, then I asked how much for the 24oz she said 2. I called Vickie and she the first thing she said was “you never call to tell me nice things, you call as a customer to complain. I told her that was a narcissist comment because she was turning the situation on me. I don’t want to pay 12 for a smoothie (basically you are paying extra ice). She then called her employee to tell me to take my smoothie back and I can go somewhere else for the smoothies. If i knew this I would have just stuck with the 16 oz. Vickie I one of the most Rudest lady I ever met. She is more focused on cutting corners to save her huge living in Colorado than taking care of customers. I went to my scheduled lash appointment and made a note to myself to grab something from here when I was done. I went in for my appointment which is usually more than relaxing. Today, all I could hear the entire hour is your staff doing nothing but yelling back and forth to each other. By the time my appointment was done I was more than irritated. What the heck is the issue over there? I know you take the orders then things print out and it’s communicated fine. What is the deal with the constant slamming and screaming from in there. I was too pissed to go in when I was done. Have some basic common sense for the businesses surrounding you. Not everyone wants to listen to that!
