Had the highly rated $12.95 Cubano and it was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING!

First, the service was terrible. No greeting, no smile, NO TIP!

Second, it was at Tin Can Alley, so the atmosphere was fun. Cool place to hang with friends, family and have a nice time.

Third, the Cubano sandwich. I don’t know what the craze is about it? The presentation was poor; clean cut, no meat or cheese hanging out the edges. The size of the sandwich left me more hungry afterwards. The smell was just ok. The flavor, none. Sure you can taste the pickle, but no flavor with the meat, cheese, or bread. Just a smashed pickle sandwich. Absolutely awful!

Times are tough everyone. Save your money and skip...

I may have blacked out somewhere between the first bite of the Luciano and my last yuca fry, but I do remember thinking: “This place is dangerously good.”

The Luciano sandwich? Insanely flavorful. For something that looks like a simple veggie sandwich, it packs more punch than a meat lover’s dream. Savory, satisfying, and perfectly balanced. And the yuca fries? Crispy little golden wands of joy.

Portions are generous — I told myself I’d save half for later. That lie didn’t last long.

If you’re anywhere near Guava Tree, do yourself a favor and go....
