*edited on 1/13/2024: After the incident on 12/13/2023, I spoke with the wife and her husband on the phone and the husband told me that they would remake the sweet and sour chicken for me the right way and I would not have to pay for it, I was just to tell them at some point in the future when I came in. I went back yesterday to reorder another sweet and sour chicken along with some beef lo mein and egg drop soup. I explained to the woman what I was told on the phone by her husband, I could tell she was absolutely furious with the fact that they would have to be giving away the sweet and sour chicken free of charge. I paid almost $30 for the rest of the food which was noodles and soup, also leaving a tip. I tried to thank her for making it right and she said nothing to me, she wouldn''t even look at me, she didn't smile or tell me thank you for the business like she used to. When I got home my heart sank to see that the sweet and sour chicken was exactly the same as before: all breading with almost no meat in each piece. I will not be going back ever again; the attitude that was given to me was uncalled for, the prices do not reflect the food any longer, they have become like rest of the local Asian fast food restaurants who are price gouging and no longer have high quality food or service. Normally my son and I absolutely love their food and service, we have been coming here for a couple of years now. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice, and egg drop soup on 12/13/2023. More than half of the pieces in that order were supposed to be full sized breaded chicken pieces meant to be dipped, however, there was just breading and no meat! The pieces that did have meat were extremely tiny, like as small as the diced pork in the fried rice which is not ok when you pay for full sized pieces of sweet and sour chicken! Now I know we are all living on harder times but we are paying more money for increased prices and there is no justification for an order of half empty fried breading being passed off as "chicken" not the pieces of meat to be diced sized with motr breading than anything. I'm very disappointed with this particular order. I never thought these folks would do this to our food. It can't even be said it was a minor mistake because this was half of a big box filled with fried breading without any meat, and diced carrot sized pieces of chicken with big glops of breading, that isn't an error, that is deception. They also did not include any soy sauce or other sauces, two thin napkins and only one set of plastic ware when there were two meals ordered. If this happens again we won't be...
Read moreEither people from Albuquerque think dogwater is Chinese food, or they have no taste buds. Went here based on all the good reviews, I wish I'd just ordered a pizza to the hotel. I desperately wanted some cheese wontons, only to find that here they're pork filled, and I can't stand pork. Another customer had ordered ahead of us and couldn't stop raving about the amazing food and huge portions, so on her recommendation we went with the crab rangoons, beef on a stick and chicken fried rice. The chicken fried rice was absolutely flavorless, utterly bland, you also don't get any soy sauce packets in the bag, so you're stuck with the flavorless food. I was annoyed to see how small the portion was after the other customers ravings, until I just abandoned my meal after a few bites, then I couldn't have cared how small the portion was. The crab rangoons were horrific, I mean that in the truest sense of the word. They're huge, i'll give them that, but even when breaking them open and looking for crab, none to be found, only a few specks of red here and there like a dusting of paprika. There's far too much cream cheese inside, as well as it's the super cheap and nasty cream cheese, so the flavor was revolting and incredibly bitter like cottage cheese. My husband was so unimpressed with the beef on a stick, he stopped eating halfway through one, and this is a man you couldn't claw beef out of his fist on his deathbed. We stopped eating a few bites into each dish, we're still ravenously hungry, but now feel a bit sick and disgusted from the food. I honestly don't know what all the other reviews are talking about, this place is no better than Panda Express: sub-par food and servers who...
Read moreNot sure where these good reviews are coming from. First time getting food here. Got home, and we surely did not get what we ordered. If we did, I wonder where their recipes came from, because I've had beef and broccoli many times, and it does not taste like this one did. My son ordered Hunan Beef. It looked more like some sort of light colored meat with broccoli, carrots, green beans, and a few other vegetables - and no spice to it at all. It was very mild. It tasted exactly like my so called beef and broccoli, with just a few more vegetables added to it. I ordered beef and broccoli. What i got was some sort of light colored meat with broccoli and carrots, and it tasted more like a garlic sauce. With both of these, the light colored meat was not chicken or pork, but it surely was not beef, because beef is dark in color. Very disappointed. Wasted $25 on dinner, because nobody wanted to eat it. The picture you see in the takeout container is the so called Hunan Beef (any red pepper flakes you see in it were put on it at home, since it was not spicy at all and did not look like Hunan Beef). The small plate with a few bites of food is the so called beef and broccoli. Extremely disappointed to...
