Was very disappointed with the meal I ordered since the night before we had ordered the same meal from the KFC in Bernalillo I had to drive 40 miles home and when we arrived home we still had a hot great tender chicken meal was the best chicken we've ever had we got the smokey Mountain barbecue tenders. I went tonight after work thinking I would get the same thing from the KFC by my home Which is less than 5 minutes away that is not what happened I got six pieces barbecued rawhide. Look I know these things happen my husband works in the fast food industry I called and I was greeted with a hey when this person answered the phone and I asked if I could just come and pick up some new tenders and I was informed we're out of chicken tenders you'd have to come back tomorrow well that's not going to work for me cuz I work tomorrow I was trying to get that out of my mouth when I was rudely hung up on I called back several times and I kept getting hung up on they would stay on the line for about 20 30 seconds and listen to me cuz by this time I was angry and told them I really need to speak to someone and then they would just hang up. I ended up calling the closest Kentucky Fried Chicken where when they answered the phone I was greeted with good evening this is Kentucky Fried Chicken would you like to place an order much different than hey since I couldn't speak to anybody at that store I went ahead and spoke to the assistant manager at the other store who told me that she would speak to the corporate manager. Ken's out that someone I knew new someone working there and called and then just what all of it sudden chicken tenders appeared and we're made fresh amazing! this does not make me feel any better it should have never happened this way to begin with I'm sure Kentucky Fried Chicken does not want customer service this way it's what differentiates a good business and exceptional business and this particular restaurant is neither there's another one a few miles down I would...
Read moreMy family and I stopped to get dinner from KFC after a long laborious day. We had received coupons in the mail and decided to redeem them for once. We went into the establishment when we noticed an employee sitting in an office chair talking to her coworkers. After about five minutes, she finally decided to approach the counter to help us. Red flag number ONE! We asked to redeem our coupon, when she told us to wait while she asked her supervisor because she was not sure of how to do it. Red Flag number TWO! After a few minutes, she approached the counter again to only tell us we cannot use the coupon. I asked why and she stated they do not take coupons at all. Red flag number THREE! I asked why the company would send them out to only be denied to use them. The individual stated her supervisor had told her they do not take coupons for their location. I asked to speak with her supervisor when I observed her rolling her eyes as she walked away to tell her supervisor. Red flag number FOUR! After about seven minutes, the supervisor finally approached the counter with an attitude. I kindly asked for her name since none of the employees had name tags. She ignored my request, so I asked for the corporate phone number instead, when she finally gave us her name, Lupita. The supervisor, Lupita, was very unprofessional, lacked customer service skills, failed to greet prospective customers, failed to addressed the issue, and had the audacity to roll her eyes too! Red flag number FIVE! If she handled the situation differently, we definently would have still placed an order without the hostile approach. Read moreWe went there to grab dinner. When we were ordering the guy told us to please order original only. Not sure why, but it was fine. We ordered the $5 fill up boxes: one with 2 drums and a thigh, one breast meal and the famous bowl meal. When we got home, we opened the boxes and in the first one, there was only 1 drum and one thigh, both of which were super small and shriveled up like they had been under the lights for hours. There was no cookie and the biscuit was hard as a rock. Both sides--mashed potates--were cold. The breast meal was the same as the other--hard, shriveled and super small. The biscuit in this one was only half there--the bottom half and it was hard as well. No cookie either. In the famous bowl one, there was only the bowl, nothing else. The only thing that worked out were the drinks. We ended up just tossing it and making something at home since the chicken wasn't even edible and what one bite my kids did eat was super dry. The service was horrible.
I am even more disappointed than normal due to the circumstances in which we are facing right now. I know that people are out there risking their health to still allow people to have a semblance of normality and seeing as how so many businesses have had to close, I would think that the ones left open, especially food service, would have stepped up their game since they are losing half their business by having to close the lobbies.
