I went in last night around 1220-1230 to pick up a order for uber eats and deliver it. While waiting I asked the gentlemen about the menu and noticed the QR code and asked about ordering and guy replied we got nothing extra but it's up to the lady in the office, I suppose he misunderstood me. I assisted the manager with contacting customer that ordered from uber eats. As I left since it was before 1 I ordered something small and returned within 10 minutes. After I arrived on premises I entered the front door ecstatic and gave the lady manager a thumbs up thankful to get something to eat. Immediately she verbally attacked me accusing me of blantly disrespecting her and that I really shouldn't do so considering she's making my food. As I quickly tried to apologize she continued to verbally attack while cursing at me saying her driver had told me when I asked for free food that there was none that I asked 3 times and her driver joined her verbal attacks yelling and pointing at me. I kept trying to apologize and explain that there must of been miscommunication and that the driver must of misheard. She started to walk towards me and verbally threatened to assault me they both started to aggressively approache me and also put there hands on me to pretty much push me out the door. I left the store in panic while uncontrollably shaking in fear. I didn't even eat the order I paid for . Obviously the store had multiple cameras. So whom ever is in charge, really ought to review the footage. I will be pursuing recompense as well as informing the authorities while filing a police report on this matter.
Update 12/26/2023
After much consideration all through Christmas I have come to a conclusion, obviously the manager that threatened me and believed the driver over a customer without verifying the lies he made up about me. I visually identified several surveillance cameras all through put the store so it was a possibility. I'm a straight forward open book, I'm a single dad whom only strives to provide the best opportunities I didn't have for my 11 year old son. I work several jobs, yes one is uber and another is in a behavior health setting with our states at-risk youth. So my conclusion is I can't provide not only my son but the kids ibwork with the tools and skills to over come and the mind set to do the right thing and i do the opposite. I will not while the lord guides my conscience let another person go through the horrific experience them two grown employees put in my path. Today I will be notifying the authorities and pursuing a police report in this matter. Them two ought be ashamed and papa johns I expected better, management should have the necessary...
Read moreFURIOUS BY MANAGEMENT'S IGNORANCE- Michael, the manager for this location, needs more training in currency rejection and/or prejudice against customers. While I love Papa John's pizza, today i was just doing laundry. I was having difficulty getting the machine to accept my $20 because of a small tear in the corner. With laundry already loaded, I remembered Papa John's! So I walked over to get a soda and some change. You're manager refused my $20 saying the bank would not accept it. He also refused to verify it with a cash pen/marker, per my request because the bank won't take it. Extremely frustrated and offended I asked for a manager higher up than him, to which he said it was just him there. Frustration growing, I asked for corporates #, his name and left, abandoning all my laundry to rushedto the nearest gas station, and immediately and successfully purchased a drink with my REFUSED $20 , and returned to my laundry, thankfully no one had stolen. I feel like I was judged because of how I looked, and discriminated when your manager refused to attempt to validate my cash, which I knew was good. I've been in customer service for 20years now, 8 of them being in Office Management. I don't think, in all that time, I've ever taken the time to complain about service I received, because I understand and respect the industry so well. But today, I was beyond offended, disrespected, and literally dumbfounded by your managers behavior and lack of professionalism. If I was dressed up for the office, and presented my $20 I guarantee this wouldn't have been an issue. You never know who you're customers are, or what their...
Read moreI've ordered from this store twice in the last 5 days, both times the food was made correctly, tasted as it should, and was reasonably warm still when it was delivered. My issue on BOTH orders was that the drinks I've ordered were ALL HOT when delivered!!! The first time, I figured it's a 1 time thing. It happened AGAIN tonight, both of the Mt. Dews were HOT! Now it's a habit, so I called the store. I asked to speak to a manager when a female answered the phone there. She stated she was a manager and asked how she could help. I told her about all of the drinks on both orders being hot. She stated that the store was not responsible for the temperature of items ordered and delivered!!! Excuse me??? It ABSOLUTELY IS the stores responsibility, then she said that the drink cooler in their store has been broken for over a week. She stated she didn't know if anybody had been alerted to it being broken, so I asked her that as a "manager " that she should know things like that. I didn't ask for a refund or anything, but wanted to know why the drinks are always hot. She asked if there was anything else she could do, I asked for her name. She said "I'm one of the night managers here", and so I asked her again, what is your name? She replied "thank you, have a good night" and hung up on me!!! VERY unprofessional, rude, and has no business being a manager, if she even really is! I've worked at pizza places in the past, and this wouldn't be tolerated at any I've worked at! I won't be ordering from...
