Arrived without issue, scored a nice parking space close to the front. The parking lot was debris free and the building exterior appeared well maintained and free of issues. Warmly greeted upon entry by the highly enthusiastic hostess. The interior was warm and inviting, tastefully decorated. The place was a ghost town so we elected to sit at the bar in hopes of obtaining better service, unfortunately the girl was often distracted and absent apparently on other issues then running the bar which made us feel notably less valued as guest then l would have preferred. Maintaining our drink refills soon proved problematic. I ordered the French Onion soup. I found the caramelized onions to be spot on with flavor intensity. Additionally we ordered the onion petals, it's LongHorn version of the blooming onion and found it far superior to anyone else's blooming onion. It arrived with a sauce that was heaven sent, divinely delicious. I would highly recommend experiencing the onion petals on any future visit. Additionally we received complimentary bread and butter which also proved highly addictive. I ordered the medium rare filet and lobster tail with a loaded baked potato. My dinning companion ordered the salmon. The meals arrived in short order. While I found my food hot, fresh and delicious, my steak was cooked to absolute perfection, the addition of some Worcestershire sauce completed it's flavor, unfortunately my companion found her bland fish lacking in flavor, something that the addition of a sauce probably would have improved. She replaced her meal with a chicken dish that she was equally unimpressed with. Personally l order steak at a steakhouse so l have no pity for people who order non steak items at steakhouses, that said, l found the entire evening to be filled with a delightful ambiance, wonderful food and good but certainly not great service. I'd gladly return again.

Read moreCame here to treat my parents out for dinner, however after receiving our food, 5 minutes later a cockroach appeared and made it's way onto our table. We flagged down the manager and all he did was come over and kill the cockroach on the table and walked away. Then our waiter came back to our table and said, "our manager will take care of everything." I've always come here many times because the food and environment was up to standards but that was the most disgusting experience ever... The manager didn't even care to show his face and apologize himself nor did they bother to clean the table, nothing. They just let us take the food home and that was that. I recommend not even dining here, especially within the booths. Where we sat was next to the bathroom and kitchen side of the restaurant. But since that incident, we've never gone back. The saddest part is that a week ago, we ate at Red Lobster's and unfortunately my mother's steak was not cooked to what she requested, and the waitress noticed herself. She took it upon herself to offer a new plate for my mother AND the manager stepped out himself and apologized for it, not even necessary but he did and offered anything in return, which we declined because they had already gone above and beyond. THAT is true service. Other than working on how to provide great customer service, your restaurant needs to re-educate yourselves on safety and sanitation pronto. My concern is, I know that I'm going to be spending well over $100-200 for the food here, and to witness a cockroach making it's way onto our table, I'm wondering what is going on within the back of the house. A health inspector should definitely be...
Read moreBottom line: Avoid this Longhorn location, go to another steakhouse. Vernon’s Speakeasy is my recommendation. Lackadaisical management.
We experienced a few issues with this Longhorn location in the past. Nothing quite as worthy of a negative review as our recent visit.
Biggest complaint is that we had a party of 17 people. Made reservations an hour in advance and arrived on time and waited an additional 45 minutes. After being seated we were told that the kitchen was “out of” many of our favorite menu options. We attempted to negotiate the cost of those missing items with other options, but management declined.
As a kindness or a courtesy, the manager who I had spoken to could have told us this when we made the reservation. In the middle of talking with him one of our other guests found a bloodied mucus in their napkin. He simply said, “We’re doing the best we can.”
Your “best we can” makes us want to stay home next time sir. Our whole party of 17 walked out. Thank goodness we didn't lose out. At a minimum, we estimated our party would have spent $425. The manager couldn't budge over $6. They made $0. 😵💫
Courtesy and customer service is lacking in many places. I feel this is a great plug for Sunnyside Up. We visit their location weekly, and never a bad experience. Their management should offer consultations to Longhorn, it could only improve.
Good luck to your business Longhorn, we will be...
