I normally don’t leave reviews, but I felt like this experience needed to be shared. I recently redeemed 4500 points for a caramel whipped cream frappé, expecting a delicious treat in return for my loyalty. Instead, I left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and honestly disrespected.
When I arrived and placed my order, one of the employees – a Black woman with dreadlocks and glasses – informed me that they were out of coffee. I was confused because I had specifically ordered a caramel coffee frappé, and this place is supposed to be a coffee spot. I politely asked what I could get instead, and without offering much help or explanation, she gave me some kind of caramel iced coffee.
Let me just say, the drink she gave me was absolutely awful. It was extremely salty, overly sweet, and just had a nasty, unbalanced flavor. It tasted nothing like what I ordered, and honestly, nothing like anything worth drinking. It felt like something that was rushed and thrown together without care. For something I spent 4500 reward points on, I expected much better.
To make things worse, when I asked for a straw, she threw it at me. Literally tossed it at my face like I was an inconvenience. I was shocked. I don't know if she was having a bad day or just didn’t care, but that kind of attitude and behavior is unacceptable — especially in customer service.
I left the store without even drinking the rest of that disgusting coffee, feeling like I wasted my points, my time, and my energy. I’ve been a loyal customer, and to be treated like that — with zero effort and zero respect — was just beyond disappointing.
I really hope the management sees this and takes it seriously. It’s not just about the drink, it’s about how you treat people. That one experience completely ruined my view of this...
Read moreWe were going to Church and thought we would stop and get a bite. Even though that sounds simple the crew didn't share that view. The front door was locked but I could see people inside. So we went around to the side door where the Door Dash people go in. Are we still locking doors because of COVID? Are they trying to keep the bad element out? Do they not want us to dine in? Well? It's not COVID. One door was open and we got in without security. My family and I were in our Sunday best. At the very least we looked presentable. It didn't take long to see that this was a sorry bunch of lazy workers. We stood at the counter within plain sight of three crew members. Remember we are on a clock to get to church. My wife said for me to get someone's attention. For my wife to say something, it was taking too long. I had to go over to the pick up counter and get someones attention. This woman who was dressed differently, I guess she was the shift manager, asked me if I needed something. Knowing she saw my family at the front counter looking at the menu board. With a slight bit of sarcasm I said I would like to order. The food came in regular time and met the standard for the food, we ate and ran. We made it in time no thanks to the lady crew. I stop at a different MD on the way to work a couple of times a week. They are not slow and lazy it was just this crew. They gave me my mocha Frappuccino for my daughter but had to wait for bag of ice and coffee on side of building after waiting for 15 min finally a manager came out trying to give me wrong order but he stated he just got there and could tell he was mad. Finally by the time I got my order my Frappuccino was a stew in a cup. They need to get it together most of the time the staff acts like you are bothering them never friendly.
Updated 5-25-23 The family and me tried again to order here one more time. Big mistake we waited In line after putting in our order for about 20 minutes( couldn't go anywhere we were blocked in) we finally got our food and all of it was cold and our drinks were watered-down. We parked in the parking lot to double check our food as usual order was also wrong and they didn't give my wife her coffee she ordered. They gave me the correct order but was also very cold. The coffee was cold and didn't have sugar and creamer she had requested, I asked if I could get sugar and creamer and fresh coffee. Took about another 10 minutes but was fresh. Again I will not be coming to this location instead will go to candelaria and Eubank they know how to treat customers very well and always get your order right.
