Rather disappointing place. When you walk into the square, it's not obvious where to go. Once you poke your head or get up close to look through the windows, you might find the indoor area. Though you'll find half of the places are missing. There are 2 indoor sections with an outdoor area in the middle. But no worries, most are rather disappointing. The "taproom" is a bar where the bartender doesn't know anything. You must order by number. Then to make it worse, I asked if the wild berry was a cider and he said yes. He brings back a seltzer. Uhh. "I thought you said it was a cider." The guy answers, "Ya, a cider, it's like a vodka seltzer." 🤦♂️ Then you get to pay $20 for a small 1 person pizza. That's more than a better bigger pizza in Switzerland. Plus this thing was somehow burnt to carbon in the outside with the center still being soft. My friends didn't have much better experience with their $20 burgers. The ultra mild green chile just made them sad. I'm finding it hard to see a...
Read moreI was in the area and was told about a new place. So we decided to go and see what it was about. 1st off there is very little info on how to enter the building or even that it is made up of 2 different buildings across from each other. We parked on the NE side and there was a banner leading into a common area but I did not see an signage to the entrances. Once inside it is a nice atmosphere but again no signage of what restaurants are in what building. We basically wondered around till we seen everything there was to offer. Then decided on what to eat. It would be nice to have a directory of the establishments. I had a bowl from Kulantro and my wife had pasta from Tulipani both meals were very good. Cost was on par for...
Read moreI was quietly talking on my phone and walking around the outside of the Park Square Market minding my own business and a security guard approaches me curious what I was doing. I told him I was on a phone call with my AirPods on. He later sees me again and says I’m disturbing the businesses and need to leave.
First time in my entire life I’ve ever been kicked out of a place for talking on the phone and enjoying the sun.
I can understand he might be doing his job as there are a lot of druggies and homeless in the area, but I was clearly not one of them. Better training of the security guards would be a good next step for this already...
