Sushi King Westside — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Well this was my first visit to this restaurant and to no surprise they were very busy with take out and dine in. We were not very pleasantly greeted when we came in but again I was giving it a chance since they were busy. But the same woman who greeted came over about 5 minutes after we sat and just asked if we wantes to order. I asked to start with water and if they had a high chair she just walked away like we were bothering her but she brought it . I ordered a combo c, my husband a tofu yaki soba, and a veggie tempura for pur 2 year old. The sushi came super quick but i had to wait so we could all eat together. It took a really long time to get the tempura which came extremely greasy way more than I have ever seen before and the yaki soba was still not ready. By this time I had to feed our son aince its extremely hard to keep a 2 year old happy. We finally asked to cancel the yaki soba but the other waitress, who took more care of us than the first one and was super sweet, was back there trying to get it ready. She took it off the bill and apologized so much for for everything. The sushi and the waitress, I wish i got her name, made up for the whole experience. If I could give this place no stars, I would. The sushi is just okay. My family of 4 ordered the crunchy roll, the California roll, the popcorn roll, the spider roll, the crispy roll, combination fried rice, and edamame. We never received our fried rice or edamame. The service is absolutely horrible. The terrible service ruined our experience. Our waitress never came by the table to check on us or provide refills on our drinks. We observed her going into the kitchen multiple times to eat. My husband had to literally flag her down to get her attention. When I told her about our missing items, her response was, "Oh let me go put your order in with the kitchen." Like it was an after thought. There was apology either. We declined to wait any longer. I've also noticed the portion sizes decreaseand the price increase. I miss the previous owners, we never had any issues until it was turned over to new management and all new staff was brought in. I recommend skipping this place and trying...

I had ordered delivery which I will not do again. I had ordered cucumber salad and not a cucumber roll. Not sure why they changed it. I was not notified about any changes. I did not receive a call about any changes. I don't know why the server did not make the salad and switched it out for a roll. I have my receipt for my door dash order and the receipt that was on the take out bag. Different price and different items. I have nothing against the sushi chefs, but to whomever messed up my order should take responsibility and make it right. Even though it may seem little, but someone did change my order and I am not happy about it. That cashier/ server should know how to fill an order accurately.
