Definitely would not recommend this shop too purchase and install equipment. I purchased some door speakers and had them install into my truck and they damaged both door panels because the tweeters punctured through the speaker grills on the doors. These were the speakers they said would fit and would be enough clearance in the back too accommodate the door. Both door panels were damaged in the process along with not properly assembling back the kick panel where they ran the amp wiring kit which i just ended up fixing myself. I spoke with the owner and he asked me too swing back in so they could take a look or try and repair the panel, which I agreed and did so. He said he would order the parts aftermarket and fix but it is now end of July and still no parts or a response to my last email. They refuse too order the proper oem door panels from dealer and has tried too give me a "free" set of speakers at a value of 110$ to even out the 1000$ a piece door panels from the PETERBILT dealership. I have reached out 4 different times with the same response that he was waiting for his aftermarket vendor to send him the parts. I went out of my way too show him the damaved panels along with pictures immediately after the install and all he is had is excuses on why it happened and that covid has been the reason the aftermarket panels he ordered have not come in. Super unprofessional customer service and all around cheap too try and fix or repair the problem with my truck. I have now had too hire a attorney to try and get them too pay for the damages to my truck. My first experience with a install was good and the reason I returned but this has been nothing but a terrible experience and his "cheap" offerings too repair the truck too how it was prior too his install. Be aware if something gets damaged, from my experience he lacks customer service and integrity too stand behind his shop for damage they did during the install i payed full price for. His offerings of 110 dollars or a place too paint the grills and repair which is near impossible dont cut the way a business should stand behind damaging a vehicle while they installed a item you payed for and they said would fit. Highly would not recommend this...

Bought gear from El Ave first time several years ago - very happy with the deck and speakers they put in my wife's Sorento (strange factory amp made it hard, but they made it work at a fair price).

Several months ago, my second purchase (different vehicle). Rockford amp and 4 Rockford speakers. For the money I spent, very happy with the sound. Very clean, can hear things in my CD's I'd never heard before - plenty of power.

Started hearing a vibration in the rear speaker, kept putting it off...finally took the car in, told 'em I felt the speaker was blown. His guys pull the door panels and pour some bass to the rear speakers. Then they start laughing!

Okay, cheap doors on my car were the source of the vibration - had to laugh with 'em. They adjusted the amp a little and reduced, maybe eliminated the vibration, put the panels back on and, no charge! Laughs and smiles from the techs, ho hassles - good place to do business with.

And as others state in their reviews, yes - their prices are good to excellent, I like their products and service - I'll be back.

Not only did MJ instantly understand what I wanted but, I trusted him to pick out everything needed to hook up my whip with a sick@ss sound system. I ended up hanging out at the shop the entire day. Not only is he a kick@ss system expert but also a gentleman by offering me water and lunch. The price I paid for what I now have by far supersedes ANY place in SF and ABQ.
