If zero stars was an option, that’s what would be given. I’m my opinion, this place should be shut down. I worked as a server for years in different places so I have some familiarity’s with the food industry. However. As a loving customer of cheddars, I am outraged by several bad experiences with this location. The apple pecan chicken salad and loaded baked potato are about the only 2 items I can eat with the limited GI diseases I have. I ordered the salad and not even a quarter of the way through my salad there was something in the bite I had taken that hit my tongue and didn’t feel normal, like a coarse hair feeling almost. Moving the salad around for my next bite to get all the good stuff, I then find dead bugs (with an s , plural) by this point my appetite was gone, purely disgusted. The manager removed my salad from the ticked and just offered me something else and apologized for it. Moving on to the baked potato - this did not happen to me personally, but I will speak for someone else, because I am to the point where I we all need to speak up for the ignorance people have. Someone ordered themselves a loaded baked potato - yummy right. Wrong, they ate the baked potato and was almost done, suddenly sprinted to the bathroom, started to profusely vomit, then returned to the potato only to realize said person had ate MOLD. MOLD in the baked potato! Are you kidding me; green, white fuzz and all. I understand things happen and sometimes things slip past us and they weren’t checked close enough. HOWEVER, you are a food industry. You should be checking the food if not double checking the food when it comes to you from your provider to insure that your customers will have a wonderful experience. NOT get sick, have dead bugs, nor have all around terrible experiences with your food. We are entrusting you with a good meal if not a great meal. Please do better. -I did not take a picture of the salad with the bugs, because I was ready to throw it in someone’s face. But here is the MOLDED baked potato that I will share since I decided to speak for someone else.

Delicious, pleasant Friday night dinner with friends! My favorite Cheddar's attribute; the enjoyable dining room atmosphere. Cheddar's has a very pleasant dining room. Cheddar's dining room is not loud or busy. Perfect setting for a great conversation with friends, family or colleagues. You can actually speak to and hear your table mates without having to shout (unlike many other popular area restaurants!) The brick and wood decor accents with ceiling fans and plants give an excellent, comfortable experience to enjoy the delicious meals. The dining room and facilities are immaculate. I met two Friends for early Friday dinner. We were immediately seated in a comfortable, cozy booth. I ordered the fried shrimp dinner with loaded baked potato and side garden salad. My friends enjoyed the pork chops and the Dijon Chicken dinners. My friends and I enjoyed our meals, absolutely no complaints! Our dinners were served hot and fresh. As is generally always the case at Cheddar's, our server was excellent and provided efficient, friendly, polite service. Cheddar's has a large, diverse menu which includes sandwiches, burgers, chicken, wraps, salads, soups, shrimp, pork chops and much more. Cheddar's also has dessert and full service bar for adult libations. Perfect Friday night dinner experience! I highly recommend the Alcoa Cheddar's location!

1/25/25: It has been a while since I've been to this location, and I had a gift card, so my neighbor and I decided to eat here for an early dinner. I ordered the filet, with the broccoli cheese casserole, and sweet baby carrots. I specifically told the waiter, no seasoning if it had pepper in it, but that I did want the garlic butter. When our food came out, the filet was really tender, but after the second piece, I realized they seasoned it and it had pepper in it. When the waiter came to check on us, I let him know, and he immediately took it back to bring me another one. The manager brought out the second one & it wasn't as tender, and they forgot the garlic butter. After finally getting it right, my neighbor had already finished eating. Everything else was good. Despite my filet being messed up, I still tipped the waiter generously, since I know he took the order correctly, and it wasn't his mistake. I'm not sure if I'll come to this location again. That's twice now, I've had bad experiences here. SMH 7/13/25 - Third time's the charm. I finally had excellent food and great service. Now I know which section I need to sit in. I had the grilled salmon, with my usual sides, broccoli cheese casserole and sweet baby carrots. Everything tasted so good, I ended up eating it all. I'm sure I'll be back.

We dine in today from 3pm today. Out of all the years we have visited this location, we have never received such poor service from our waitress. It took a long time for her to come to our table to get our drink order. They were not busy at all. When she finally came, we ordered our drinks and food. Some one else brought our appetizer and salads. We ask that waitress where our drinks and crossiants were, she replied she would let our waitress know. After we had finished our appetizer and salads, we still had no drinks or crossiants. Our food comes out, once again not by our waitress. Again we asked about our drinks and crossiants. Our waitress finally comes out we the crossiants saying she was sorry they just came out of the oven, which was a lie, we saw two other tables get their crossiants when their waiter came to get their drink order. Our waitress was quick to walk off when we was like ma'am can we get our drinks. She looked at our table saying I'm sorry, I will get them. Which seemed to take forever still, looked up and she was busy talking to another worker laughing and talking. Finally we get our drinks, which we requested lemon in our teas that we did not get, but at this point I wasn't asking for it cause I knew I wasn't getting that. My father asked for some cocktail sauce, the waitress was like sure I will get that for you, she never came back with the sauce. She was to busy laughing and talking in an empty area of tables from us with a couple of other workers. My dad wave to get her attention for her to come over, when she did, my father told her what poor service she was providing and how we have never had this experience before here. The waitress then got mad and all her response was "excuse me" My father told her he never did get his cocktail sauce, which she started arguing that he didn't ask for it. He then requested to speak to the manager which was one of the workers in the area where they had been laughing, talking and not taking care of their customers. She comes over to say that they had a busy lunch. Which is a poor excuse for a manager because they were not busy what so ever at that time. She treated us like we were in the wrong and never once apologize for the poor service. My dad requested the check at this point. BUT neither the manager or our waitress return to our table., they sent a different waiter. This was very poor customer service, and a sad way the manager was running the business. It's sad especially when you spend alot of money here. We will not be back and do not recommend this restaurant, if I could give a negative 5 for the...

We come here 1-2 times a month and the service we get is hit or miss. It's kind of disappointing. I know you'll won't believe it your Mr. Personality hire Spencer was quite judgemental of us. I noticed he was very attentive to other tables and not us. He never checked on us after he dropped the food off and never asked if we wanted our check or dessert. Something similar happened with a female server tonight. I didn't catch her name, but she has a nose piercing, curly hair and tan complexion. She was at the host stand when we came in at saw us being sat on her section, so she obviously wasn't busy. It took every bit of ten minutes to get out drink order. We got an appetizer asked for extra ranch, she didn't bring out the appetizer so we had to wait on her again to check on us with our food getting cold. She reminded us that the rolls were in the oven and would be out shortly. We got the rolls finally. When it was time for our entrees someone else dropped them off. Once again we didn't get the condiments we asked for when ordering our food. We were sitting there patiently waiting on the server to acknowledge that we got our food while she was cleaning off her tables. I had to get her attention after waiting several minutes. After that she never checked on us again until we were done . She never asked how the food was like most servers do when you're in the middle of eating. She never asked if we wanted dessert or asked how we wanted the checks, similar to how Spencer treated us. I'm high functioning autistic so I may be a little socially awkward at times , but that is absolutely no reason to treat other tables with the utmost respect and treat us like trash. I don't like to complain and we usually get okay service there, but there is times where we're judged for some reason. I'm super aware of my surroundings, when I see the server treating others with care and respect and treating me like I'm scum it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.. I don't want anyone to get fired, I just want to be treated with respect. We're not difficult guests, just want to be treated with the same respect as other guests. I tip very well often 50-100% when it's warranted. I don't tip just for the fact that you're a server. I want to be treated with care and respect and I will award those efforts. We came in on Sunday night around 7:30 and sat in the far section all the way to the back towards the right. I hope this can be corrected so we can...
