Owner I hope you read this!
Tips are meant for service. Not just because people stand behind a register and cook food is not service. I do not know where you got this. Tipping is for when you do the work and I sit and enjoy my evening out. For us to have to stand at a register place in order then grab our cups and get ice and a drink with straws and pick up our napkins and any other utensils that we want to use at the table. Then go and sit down. Once the food is called by number we have to get up go walk over grab the food turn around and come sit down and start to eat. If we need anything else we need to stand up walk over ask for what we need or go get a refill. You should be tipping us. Pay your employees more and do not request tips from your customers. Take it off of the screen when we pay with debit. If somebody for some reason wants to leave cash which they will not they can leave it on the table or you can put a little cup up there. There is no reason whatsoever for me to feel obligated to give a tip because if I don't your employees are going to do something to the food or mess with me in some way. It's the way the world works.
So with that being said, now we can get into the cleanliness of a restaurant. More than important The cleanliness of your dining room sets the stage for what you would do in the back of the house. If your company is okay with allowing your customers to see dirty walls, glass that is not easily cleaned, slippery dirty floors, tables that are not wiped down, not taking stickers off of chairs once you purchase them for your customers to use, and wiping down and cleaning the stainless steel above and around your cooking stations. Just imagine what the refrigerator or freezer looks like. I'm sure I could tell you but....
I can say the gyro that I had was great and the fries were fun too. But understanding what I wrote above sometimes it was hard to swallow.
And the picture I have attached is it the bidet or sink rinsing station attached to the toilet. You couldn't pay me a million dollars to put my fingers on that trigger. Extremely dirty! Not something you should have in a restaurant where the community comes in and sprays their parts all over the restroom. Come'on man!
Please remove the tip request from your system. There is no service being done here. It's called work. And I'm doing most of it. đ¤
I will give this place another shot in the next couple months and hopefully you have fixed these major situations. If you do not get on the cleaning game this store is going to dive into the ground very fast. That stuff builds up extremely quick. Every single day you should have a big cleaning process that needs to be done over and over and over. You should have learned this when you work at different restaurants. If not, you just did. So the next time I come in hopefully you'll give me a free dessert. Lol (there might be some joking in here but for the most part this is extremely...

Our very first visit to Smoky Mountain, Tennessee, was made even more memorable by our first meal at Yassinâs Falafel House in Alcoa, and we couldnât have chosen a better spot to kick off our trip! We ordered the falafel plate and the falafel sandwich, and both were absolutely outstandingâby far the best falafel we've had.
The falafel plate was beautifully presented with perfectly crispy and golden falafel balls that were light and fluffy inside. The flavors were authentic and well-balanced, with just the right amount of seasoning. The accompanying sidesâhummus, fresh salad, and warm pitaâcomplemented the falafel wonderfully, making it a satisfying and wholesome meal.
The falafel sandwich was equally impressive. Stuffed generously with fresh vegetables, pickles, and a creamy tahini sauce, every bite was bursting with flavor. The pita was soft and held everything together without falling apart, which made it a joy to eat.
The atmosphere at Yassinâs Falafel House is warm and inviting, with a friendly staff that made us feel right at home. The service was quick, yet the quality of the food was top-notch, showing the care they put into each dish.
If youâre visiting the Smoky Mountain area, Yassinâs Falafel House is a must-visit for anyone who loves fresh, delicious Middle Eastern food. Weâll definitely be back to try more...
Read moreOh my goodness, this is GREAT! I have eaten this type of food in many cities across the US and Canada - Chicago, Philadelphia, Detroit, Washington DC, Toronto, Calgary, etc. - and this ranks among the best.
The menu is straightforward, the serving sizes are good, and the pricing is appropriate. I had the chicken shawarma plate with rice, white garlic sauce, hummus and pita. The chicken was perfect, the hummus may just be my favorite, everything was exactly as I had hoped it would be. Next time I am trying the falafel, it looks delicious.
From the service standpoint, I could not be more happy: from the initial greeting when I walked in, to the friendly recommendations as I ordered, the easy attitude when I wanted to substitute a side, the friendly smile as I received my food, and manager walking throughout the dining area to see how folks were enjoying their meal- it was great.
The dining room was clean and tidy, and the open kitchen looked to be as well.
I will be returning, hopefully very soon!...
