Been on highway for hours stopped at chillis to have meal and turned out to be an nightmare. Front of the house talking to customers as if they are in line at the food stamp office. All the years of me coming to chillis franchise I've never had an issue or experience like this. Advised staff to speak to general manager he walked passed and ignored request. Finally had to ask a second time and he dragged himself over and as I explained to him how the front house is welcoming customers he laughed in my face and state he will have a talk with her about it. Finally the disrespectful girl Erica comes over and puts knee on the chair in front of me and the general manager Clinton and lied to my face that she was being nice. Erica should be an actress not front house worker at chillis, her voice toned changed to all high as if she did nothing wrong. The barternder was kind enough to seat me and my party and heard the condescending voice tone she used in front of customers and people with kids in the establishment. Clinton is a weak link to the company to allowing his staff to talk that way to customers and giving chillis a bad name in Alexandria Louisiana. As far as Erica she is a liability to the company, if she is not happy with her job at chillis which is suppose to be a fun family environment she should seek employment else where. I think Applebee's will only be restaurant I select in awhile thanks to Clinton General Manager and Erica the evil hostess of the south!!!! Please anyone stopping at this location please be careful of the mistreatment of the customers. I never had a general manager laugh at what his employees are doing in the establishment. Heather at the bar apologized and took roll of management. And stated she will be more than happy to take care of us when ever we visit the location. But I doubt I ever stop at chillis in Alexandria due to mistreatment and ghetto mantality of front house with all the hood lingo. I would be greatly appreciated to be talk to as a customer not a stranger at the corner store. Chillis Alexandria has potential but they need to cut the grass and see the snakes they going to loose a lot of business if they continue to disrespect customers who are spending money to have awesome meal. I always thought of chillis to be fun but this location is a nightmare and waste of money to be spent with general management like Clinton and employees like erica with nasty attitudes. I'm so embarrassed of my people ššš... heather is a hidden treasure is this establishment. Very disappointed in chillis for making Clinton a general manager when he is just as horrible as employee Erica. Chillis need investigate who hired these people and fire them for letting...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreManagement is horrible. The restaurant is understaffed. The only reason this Chili's location deserves one star is because eventually I did receive the food that I ordered. I ordered my food online and 20 minutes later, I walked up to the bar to pick it up. I sat and I sat, watching the bartender struggle to go from the bar, to the booths and tables behind me, to the other people at the bar next to me, back and forth to the kitchen etc. until I finally had to make him aware that my food was likely to be ready according to my email that I received. I understand that he was the only one waiting tables and trying to keep the drinks going as well, but there were not very many people sitting at the bar. BOTTOM LINE: He had no help, but he also completely ignored me, to the point where a guy that was also sitting next to me said that he was even going to write a review. He came in after me, and had been served beer and nachos, while I struggled to be acknowledged. The bartender became more and more rude even though an hour had gone by and I was still sitting there. My food finally came out and I asked to speak with the manager. The manager (also rude) walked in with messy hair, wearing a dirty, sloppy polo shirt and told me that I needed to pay half the price for the meal. At this point, it had been about an hour and a half, and I only waited because I thought surely being passed over a thousand times, spoken to rudely, and waiting an hour and a half to receive food that I was supposed to receive within 20 minutes---surely this meal would be either free or the price would be greatly reduced.. but NO. The manager could have still made some money off of me and I would have been a satisfied customer.. However, I ended up leaving my food sitting on the bar just like the couple that was next to me did. Apparently, they had the same experience right before I walked in, but I thought since I gave them a chance and waited, that they would try to make the situation right. I will not eat at this restaurant until it's under...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame here with my family for lunch. We didn't wait too long for a table thankfully and sat down at a table/booth. Our waitress (Misty) came and greeted us with kindness and grace. She took our orders with such sophistication it felt like a long-time friend was serving us. Aside from the immaculate service, the food and drinks were, well, lackluster. We got queso dip for our chips and salsa and it was okay at best. I wouldn't necessarily hate on the queso albeit it wasn't anything to write home about. Our drinks were primarily sprite and one of them was a cocktail. The cocktail was so forgettable that I can't recall what it was. It was just a basic cocktail. For the food we ordered steak nachos, cajun pasta, bacon cheeseburger well-done, and a triple dipper platter. All of the food was actually the same, lame. The nachos were lukewarm and the steak wasn't anything special. The cajun pasta was the best plate of the bunch and was still lacking in the flavor department by a milestone. The pasta wasn't terrible but it was so basic I didn't care enough to finish it which is very rare. The bacon cheeseburger wasn't bad and was cooked properly to be fair. Finally, the triple dipper was inconsistent. The eggrolls were zero quality and were very small, the honey Chipotle chicken tenders were so disgusting, tasted like it was soaked in sink water, and none of them made it off the plate. The last food on the triple dipper was the onion petals and again, they were only okay. This location isn't a bad place to get a quick bite but expect having a chance to get very bad food. This Chili's would get a 2 star but it gains one more due to the lovely waitress Misty. She saved the experience and lightened up the mood. Overall, amazing...
