I had eaten at this McDonald’s before. But it had been decades ago. As I had to pick up some meds and visit the bank at the shopping center I decided why not? What could go wrong? I even had a coupon! How innocent I was... I figured I would order the Egg McMuffin meal and also use a coupon to get a second Egg McMuffin. So that is what I ordered. I made sure not to rush my words but also didn’t wish to waste their time. This is a busy place - open 24 hours - and they needed to be speedy. The staff was friendly, smiling, everything seemed to be going well till I put in my card. The price listed on the tiny display looked too...low. Yeah, she had me ordering a Egg McMuffin and getting a free one. But she had failed to understand I was ordering a breakfast MEAL with drink and hash browns. Somehow she had not heard the word MEAL. I didn’t bother to try to correct them and just picked up my order and picked a table. I didn’t want to cause a traffic jam and slow down everybody else’s meals. It took me a few seconds to realize the table were clean. The ones I was looking at had one of those surfaces with colored spots in the material and it made it look dirty. On the other hand many of the tables were not as clean as they could be. But it is a busy McDonald’s open 24 hours so what could one say? The Egg McMuffins looked sad without the hash browns to cheer them up. Or the diet cola to add some flavor to the food. After finishing the two sandwiches I went to the bathroom. The stall’s coat hook on the door was broken so I had to wedge my bag and coat onto the door handle. And once again the bathroom was not as clean as it could be. At least the toilet was clean and there was paper. When I left I was full but VERY thirsty and still wanted something else. The sandwiches had been so...bland. I had to drink a gallon of water when I finally got home after doing all my chores. Over all it wasn’t the end of the world and I didn’t get food poisoning. But with so many food choices in the shopping center I don’t have any reason to come to this McDoanld’s again. Addition - 2/7/2021 - As Uber Eats are offering a promo for Fee Delivery and 50% off, because Super Bowl Sunday, I decided to order a lot of food from this McDonalds. And they got most of it right. But the 40 Spicy Chicken Nuggets were only 33. Yes, I counted. You all count. But..the rest of the order, the Large Diet Pepsi, the Large French Fries, and the Bacon McDouble was good. Sometimes you need the sugar, salt, and calories. And it is likely a busy day for them. So I'm going to leave the ratings alone. Nothing added, nothing taken away. Update - 8/6/2021 - Got my breakfast order via Grubhub 100 percent correct. Added a star. Update - 7/21/2022 - Been working nearby so eat here about three to four times a week for the past five months. I would say they get 18 out of 20 of my orders right? Still kind of sad when you are right there and telling them what you want. Even answering their questions. And they still get it wrong. Update - 2/6/2023 - started work at 5 AM so was here at 4 AM. Staff in the kitchen area but no cashiers. The stations were closed. I guess they service delivery drivers and drive-thru not walk ins? So NOT really open 24 hours. Update - place is going downhill. Bathroom once had no toilet paper. Been locked in once because they wanted to mop the floor and locked the doors forgetting they had a customer. Also recently they messed up a dine-in breakfast order and refused to correct it. In other words they forget to add the harsh browns. Update - they finally got an order right but only because the manager was reading over the cashier's shoulder and corrected their mistakes. Almost got the wrong breakfast meal and they almost forgot the hash browns. Again. Update - tried to have breakfast at 4:51 am. Doors still locked. They really don't need your business. Update- hey! Hello customers. This evening I went to this location after working more than 12 hours to get my refill for a meal I purchase around 13:30 today . so my refill was within 24 hour period time frame. I had my cup, my receipt as a proof of my meal that was today. I passed by the drivetru to get my refill . The guy was working at the window , refused my refill. I asked for a reason , he said he doesnt know it. I asked for a manager. The manager came was a black guy with unshaved beared, unprofessionally having his shirt dangling on his pant and nor tucked in. He said he cant give me a refill via the drivetru . I asked if I come inside? He said no either. He said is for dining folks only.I told him that I had a refill before via drivetru and inside as well. I called back and asked for a store manager. A girl answered and explained to her the situaion and said sorry yah you are entitled to a refill . it was a misunderstood . I said no it was not I asked him for times and said no Idont have a right for a refill. I was shocked. I did ask her for the manager name and refused to give me his name and asked her for her name and responded Maria. I asked fir her last mame and refused to give me her last name.I explained to her that she will be reported to the corporate for covering her employee and providing me with unprofessional , frustrating service. Also she will be reported to the corporate for hiding her name. I did my research online and found out that Macdonald provide unlimited free refills. I will post here as well. Please dont go to this nasty place. I many times had my break time wasted here waiting for my order. One time there was a girl at the make line scratching her hair and grabbing people's food. The service is very very bad. Rude employees. Many times no body at the register to take your order. Nasty bathroom with urine all over.....ect. Tomorrow the corporate will be contacted as well to see why am I not getting my refill . also a complaint will be posted at macdonald.com

Two days ago I had a bad experience at the McDonald's located at 3646 King St,VA I ordered the Crispy Chicken meal. The worker gave me a bag containing the meal. I checked the bag and did not find ketchup (which I love). I asked the worker (her name is Zulma) to. Give me Ketchup. She handed me four sachets of ketchup. I asked her for more. She refused, saying McDonald's policy had changed. The limit allowed to a customer is only four sachets of ketchup, and any increase above that must be paid for. I was surprised. Because I am used to other branches, when I ask for more, they give me. I asked her, “Can you give me your name?” She answered me rudely, “Zulma” and then added, “If you want to take a picture of me too, that’s okay.” I think this worker has previously created problems with customers.
