O'Shaughnessy's Sports bar & Pub — Restaurant in Alexandria

Came in with a group of friends and as soon as we entered the vibe was OFF -we went upstairs and was met with a bartender with NO customer service and clearly high off drugs or coming off drugs I believe her name is Michelle. Not a place for minorities AT ALL. Worst bar in old town by far!!! And the manager as well has no customer service and must be “friends” with the bartender. I’m just disappointed that someone like that is a bartender and has that attitude while SERVING people. I asked to speak to the owner the next day and was verbally attacked by the same woman manager. Shaddy, Argumenative, Unsanitary... Went there for a late night snack. Only one individual running both the grill and cash register. This lead the employee handling payment with his gloves on and then immediately going back to handling your food without changing or removing the gloves. It is understandable why there is a long wait to order and get food with only one employee. But when your order comes out after the long wait missing items you paid for, that is frustrating. Even more frustrating is when the employee argues with you and says you didn't order it. It wasn't until I left that I was able to find my receipt. Used to hang out there regulary. Would not reccomend it. It's a dump. There were a fair amount of fights with management and staff that would do nothing about it. They would say "at least we're not the Rock-It", which is crap. It was the same garbage in a different location is all. And if the old owner is involved, I would skip it all together. Although the comedy shows were worth catching. That's worth one star. The last time I was there last year (post-Lizard) they were still smoking. It is allowed as the food service is seperate.
