I am SO glad that we stopped here for coffee! The atmosphere was inviting and chic. It reminded me of a jazz bar but for coffee! I got two coffees and was quickly impressed that I rounded the corner and came back for Gumbo. Everything was delicious, if I lived in Alexandria I would be there every day!

Food and service was phenomenal! I had the chicken and sausage gumbo, almond tea and a slice of chocolate covered bacon. The staff was so friendly and patient. The venue itself was so clean, serene and inviting. There were so many amazing choices that it was hard to make a selection.

The drinks are really good... but.. I heard and seen the chicken salad and tuna fish from multiple people. I support local food places, food trucks etc but I can't not stand behind this establishment. The person who ordered the chicken salad sandwich on croissant was complaining repetitively about the amount of gristle left from the chicken, but flavorful. The tuna was really watery and inconsistent. I wanted to give it another chance, but I seen no pictures of any food products. I'm skeptical, maybe I'll order something in a few months IDK.. I hope...

Sweet Latte is absolutely amazing and delicious. We are Texas natives visiting the area and wanted to find a place to get a quick coffee. The staff were so warm and friendly. I wasn’t sure what I wanted, but the lovely lady behind the counter helped make the perfect drink based on what I described. Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere was so inviting.
