Great burger joint in town. It's a chain franchise, but delicious nonetheless. The menu is quite straightforward: little cheeseburgers with sauce and pickle, along with a side of seasoned waffle fries and a drink (your options are numbers 1-4, which corresponds to how many sliders you get in your meal). The burgers were fantastic, and I took them up on what they call the "Biggie Smalls", which takes their normal single patty slider and turns it into a doule meat, double cheese slider (with the option to add bacon). Then imagine if Arby's fries and Chick-fil-A fries had a baby, and that's their seasoned waffle fries; they're good, and even one of my children who hates fries couldn't get enough of them. Had to bring them down a rating as some of the fries were stuck together, which affected their overall cook as they were still raw in the middle. Their burger sauce is reminiscent of a ketchup/mustard/pickle relish combination and pairs well with the burger. Outdoor seating only for dine-in, and you'll have your meal served in Styrofoam takeaway boxes. Having some outdoor games would be a nice addition, such as the big Connect 4 game, and maybe some cornhole boards, to play with friends and family to complete...
Read moreWanted to try this since it opened. To quote TheReportoftheWeek: "My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined."
The sliders were more bread than beef, and the fries were just ok. There was more grease than patty on the sliders. I really can't express how thin these sliders are. I expected them to be thin, but these were thinner than my hat brim. I think the only other thing thinner would be fishing line.
The fries are the best part, and that's not saying much. They taste baked somehow, but maybe that's because they're less greasy than the sliders.
You guys are right next to Chik-Fil-A. You have to step your game up because for $10 over there, I could've had a solid meal that didn't make my stomach hurt.
Overall: If you're looking for some greasy bread with a hint beef and some frozen fries to remind you of your days as "the poor kid" in school, this...
Read moreThat’s was the longest I have ever had to wait to get fast food; there’s no way it should take 40 minutes that was absolutely ridiculous. We couldn’t even leave the line, we were trapped. The way you guys built the drive through completely screws over your customers; we had no choice but to sit and wait. If I could have left, I would have. When we pulled up to the window to get our food there was no diversity from blacks and whites; where is the Diversity? There were a lot more blacks than whites. This place needs new management and employees who actually care. Having a bunch of high school kids as the heart of your business is not the way to go; especially something as new as this in Alexandria. I see why it’s only a 3/5 on here; you guys are lucky it’s not a 0/5. We will NOT BE BACK until something changes and I promise I am not the only one...
