We were visiting from out of town, and decided to stay in Algoma to avoid the big crowds in Door County. On our last night here, we needed to get dinner but everywhere in town closes early. I looked for a place we could get a burger, and Millie's was 2 min from our room, and open until 8p on a Sunday. After reading a review that said they had a bad burger here, I was hesitant to go. However, I am now convinced that that review must've been from a disgruntled patron who maybe got kicked out of the bar or something. Our burgers here were FANTASTIC. They were hot, juicy, and just the right thickness to not be too much meat, but not a thin patty either. The buns were like soft, kaiser-type rolls. And we got heaping piles of piping hot fries to go with. All for $9. We almost went to A & W down the street, but thank God we didn't. We love this little town, and we'll definitely be coming back to grab a burger here.

Casual family restaurant combined with bar area up a couple steps. It's normally busy bc of very good food (and cocktails) at pretty decent prices. The staff works very hard to help ensure you are served as quickly as possible. Have been here many times. Always great food and dribks with hard workers. Couple minutes from Lake Michigan via vehicle or walking. Located in small town of Algoma. Was surprised to see a cruise ship, but they told me Great Lake cruises started a year or two ago and that Algoma is a stop bc of its close to Green Bay and Door County...Who knew? I didnt, but now I do bc I saw it with my own eyes! If you ever visit Algoma, you'll understand my dismay.

The speed of service was good and the staff were nice. For an appetizer we got cheese curds that were fresh, crispy on the outside, and gooey loveliness on the inside. We got the cod and walleye fish fries and we're pleased. The breading was thick and crispy and the fish was tender and delicious. We got tap beer and hare cider as well.

We have visited town many times over the past 2 years, and have tried everywhere in this great little village. We always now find ourselves back here at Millies. This place feels like home to us and many many others that we've met here. The food is excellent, every single time! The employees are friendly, accommodating, and take great care of their customers. Pricing is phenomenal, and the entire place is clean and neat. We've brought our extended family and enjoyed the lower dining area also. Our drinks have always been great, and pricing has matched there also. We just can't say enough about Millies and how much we love each experience that we have here. Wish we could bottle it up and bring it home with us! Try this place with confidence, and you'll become a regular. Until next time, keep it...

Was there with a group. New waitress did a decent job and was friendly. Tried the New York strip steak sandwich. The first time ever eating here that 2 of us got our food when everyone else was almost done eating. No onions were on it, even though ordered them. Waitress offered to get some fried up, but it would have been a longer wait, so declined. The steak was done perfectly, but had no seasoning on it. The price was decent, as it was the special. This was probably a fluke with the food. This is a great place to eat and the food is good. Wish they would split tickets as they lump it all together and you are left to figure it out, which isn’t always easy with a larger group. Will return as it’s a...
